The Amelia 2027 runs from Thursday, March 4 to Sunday, March 7, 2027, on Amelia Island, with the 32nd Amelia Concours d'Elegance on the golf course beside The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, on Saturday, March 6, according to the official schedule. The concours field brings together more than 250 historically significant automobiles competing across more than 35 classes, the Broad Arrow auction offers around 140 collector cars in the Ritz-Carlton ballroom, and Sunday's Cars & Caffeine puts more than 400 vehicles on show. The 2027 honoree is the racing driver Scott Pruett.
It is a weekend of collectors, auction bidders, entrants, sponsors and enthusiasts on an island most visitors reach from the mainland over the A1A bridge. Elly8.net books the car for it at a fixed, all-in price, with Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) transfers and a chauffeur by the hour from US$95. Rides in Jacksonville are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Amelia Island is outside our city list, so concours trips are priced and run from our Jacksonville car service.
How do you get to The Amelia Concours?
The concours is about 27 mi (44 km) and 46 minutes from JAX on a clear road. On concours weekend, the organiser does not allow vehicles to stop and drop guests at the Ritz-Carlton entrance; spectators park at Lot A on Bailey Road and ride the included shuttle. A pre-booked chauffeur follows those rules. Elly8.net fixes hourly cars from US$95.
The organiser's plan your visit page sets out the 2027 arrangements, and they shape every booking we make:
- Lot A, spectator parking. Lot A is on Bailey Road, to the right at the first roundabout coming from SR 200. It is open on Saturday, March 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 7 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., at US$20 per car, and the price includes a shuttle ride to and from the show. ADA parking and shuttles are also at Lot A.
- Lot D is priority parking reserved for volunteers, entrants and partners, entered off Amelia Island Parkway.
- No drop-offs at the entrance. The organiser states that no vehicles will be allowed to stop and drop off guests at the entrance to the Ritz-Carlton.
- Accessible shuttles with wheelchair and scooter lifts run from Fernandina Beach Airport on Saturday and Sunday, dropping guests across the street from the Ritz-Carlton entrance to the show field.
So the honest plan for a show-field day, if you are not staying at the Ritz-Carlton, is a chauffeur to Lot A and the organiser's shuttle the last stretch, or a chauffeur to the accessible shuttle point if you need it. Guests staying at the Ritz-Carlton itself walk to the field. We confirm the exact point with you before the weekend, and if the organiser changes the rules, we follow the change.
The four days at a glance
According to the official schedule for 2027:
- Thursday, March 4: Broad Arrow auction preview on the Oceanfront Lawn and in the Ritz-Carlton Ballroom, an OEM ride and drive, and Reverie, the opening party, from 6:30 p.m. along the island's Atlantic shoreline.
- Friday, March 5: the Eight Flags Road Tour for entrants and special guests from downtown Fernandina Beach, the Broad Arrow auction in the Ritz-Carlton Ballroom, ride and drives, and Legends of Speed, a new evening event on the concours field from 7 p.m.
- Saturday, March 6: the 32nd Amelia Concours d'Elegance, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., plus RADwood, the auction and shops on the green.
- Sunday, March 7: Cars & Caffeine from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with seminars and ride and drives.
Auction timings are announced closer to the date. The evenings, Reverie on Thursday and Legends of Speed on Friday, are the nights when a car with a waiting chauffeur matters most.
Getting to the island
The organiser's directions from JAX take I-95 north for about 7 miles to Exit 373, Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach and Callahan, then A1A (SR 200) east for about 9.6 miles to the Thomas J. Shave Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway, then Amelia Island Parkway to the Ritz-Carlton. That is the main road for most visitors, and on a concours weekend it carries collectors, entrants with trailers, spectators and resort guests.
| Route | Distance | Clear-road drive | Elly8.net booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| JAX to The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island | about 27 mi / 44 km | about 46 min | Web booker |
| Downtown Jacksonville to The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island | about 36 mi / 58 km | about 54 min | Hourly from US$95 |
| JAX to downtown Jacksonville | about 15 mi / 24 km | about 25 min | US$165 to US$430, fixed |
| JAX round trip to downtown Jacksonville | 2 x 15 mi | about 25 min each way | US$315 to US$820, fixed |
Clear-road times are the best case. Allow more on Saturday morning and at the end of each show day.
The plan for concours weekend
Arrival at JAX. JAX is a single-terminal airport. According to its ground transportation page, taxis and shared rides are handled from booths on the Lower Level outside baggage claim, app rides are requested at the kerb by Poles 1 and 2, and pre-arranged transportation picks up in the Ground Transportation Area. Your chauffeur tracks the flight and meets you with a name board, with complimentary waiting after a tracked landing; see airport transfers. JAX to an Amelia Island hotel is priced by exact address in the web booker. If you fly privately, tell us the airport, FBO and tail number; see private jet and FBO car service.
Thursday and Friday: auction and evenings. Bidders and consignors often move between the auction preview, their hotel and dinner several times a day. A chauffeur by the hour, from US$95 in a business sedan with a 3-hour minimum, keeps one car with you. For Reverie or Legends of Speed, the 5-hour evening out and event night package, from US$475 in a business sedan to US$950 in an Executive Sprinter, covers the arrival and the return, with the chauffeur following the organiser's rules on where cars may wait.
Saturday: the concours. If you are staying off the Ritz-Carlton property, the chauffeur takes you to Lot A, where the parking fee includes the organiser's shuttle, or to the accessible shuttle if you need it, and returns at an agreed time. A full-day chauffeur (8 hours), from US$700 to US$1,400, suits a guest who wants the car for the concours, the auction and dinner.
Sunday: Cars & Caffeine and the flight home. Combine the morning at the show with the JAX departure on one booking, and send the desk your flight time so the chauffeur plans the drive.
Collectors, sponsors and groups. An Executive Sprinter with driver takes a group with bags in one vehicle at US$190 an hour as directed. Sponsors and dealers running several cars use a corporate account with monthly invoicing; NDAs are available for clients who prefer discretion, and the name board can show a code. Elly8.net is a chauffeur booking service, not a security company. See also event transportation.
Prices for The Amelia
Prices on the Jacksonville price list do not change for the concours. They are per vehicle, fixed and all-in, including the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet; tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost, including any concours parking fee.
- JAX to downtown Jacksonville: US$165 in a business sedan, US$215 in a business SUV, US$265 in a First Class SUV, US$290 in a First Class Sedan and US$430 in an Executive Sprinter. Amelia Island addresses are priced in the web booker.
- By the hour, as directed (3-hour minimum): from US$95 in a business sedan and US$120 in a business SUV to US$190 in an Executive Sprinter.
- Evening out and event night (5 hours): from US$475 to US$950.
- Full-day chauffeur (8 hours): from US$700 to US$1,400.
- Corporate roadshow day (10 hours): from US$855 to US$1,710.
All prices are on the Jacksonville fares panel, and the fleet page shows what each vehicle seats and carries. Island hotels and the cars that serve them fill early for concours week, so reserve now.
Honest alternatives: driving, Lot A, rideshare
Drive yourself and park at Lot A. For a car enthusiast staying nearby, driving to Lot A and paying US$20 for parking with the shuttle included is simple and good value. Many visitors do exactly that.
Stay at the Ritz-Carlton. If you are staying at the host hotel, you walk to the field and need a car only for the airport and evenings off the property. The organiser's page also lists the Omni Amelia Island Resort and other island hotels.
Rideshare and taxis. App rides and taxis can reach the island, but on an island with a limited pool of cars, a late-evening ride back after Reverie or Legends of Speed is not guaranteed at the time you want it.
A pre-booked chauffeur wins for collectors and bidders moving between auction, hotel and dinner, for guests flying into JAX, for groups, for the evening events, and for anyone who would rather not drive after a long day on the field. See chauffeur vs renting a car and chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft.
Before or after the concours
The week after The Amelia, THE PLAYERS Championship comes to TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, south of Jacksonville, and many visitors stay for both. The signature Jacksonville day trip is St. Augustine, a 6-hour package from US$525 in a business sedan to US$1,050 in an Executive Sprinter. The Amelia Island tourism site covers Fernandina Beach and the island's own calendar. Further along the coast, we run the same fixed-price service as a Savannah car service, a Charleston car service and an Orlando car service, with long drives through city to city car service.
