Stagecoach, the country music festival in the California desert, returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio from Friday, April 23 to Sunday, April 25, 2027, the weekend after Coachella on the same grounds, according to the official Stagecoach site. Passes for 2027 are already on sale, with a payment plan and hotel packages, and the lineup has been announced. Guests stay right across the Coachella Valley, from Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage to Palm Desert, La Quinta and Indio itself, and almost all of them face the same question three days in a row: how to get in, and how to get home after the last set.
Elly8.net books the ground transport around it: a chauffeur at Palm Springs International or at a private-jet terminal near the festival, a festival-day drop-off and a pickup time agreed in advance, and Executive Sprinters for groups sharing a house. Prices are fixed, all-in and do not change for festival weekend, and the 24/7 desk runs the booking from landing to departure.
What is the best way to get to Stagecoach?
The festival recommends its official shuttles, which drop closest to the entry. A private car suits groups, families and anyone staying away from a shuttle stop: licensed black cars use the festival's pass-only drop-off or the public drop-off at Madison Street and Avenue 52. Downtown Palm Springs is about 25 mi (40 km) from the grounds.
The Empire Polo Club sits on the south side of Indio, about 24.6 mi (39.6 km) from downtown Palm Springs, roughly 40 minutes on a clear road, and about 9.9 mi (16 km) from Palm Desert. On festival days the roads near the grounds are managed by the organisers and local agencies: Monroe Street and Madison Street carry the traffic, some stretches are closed to pedestrians, and every mode of transport has its own lot or stand. At night, everyone leaves within the same couple of hours.
That is why the plan matters more than the vehicle. The festival publishes separate arrangements for shuttles, rideshare, friends-and-family drop-offs, taxis and licensed black cars, each with its own entrance and hours, and the desk books your car to fit them.

Arriving: Palm Springs, private jets and the drive from Los Angeles
Palm Springs International (PSP) is the nearest commercial airport, about 5 mi (8 km) from downtown Palm Springs and about 23.6 mi (38 km) from the Empire Polo Club. The fixed transfer from PSP to downtown Palm Springs is listed from US$125 in a Business Sedan to US$325 in an Executive Sprinter, with a round trip from US$240. For resorts and rental houses further down the valley, in Palm Desert, La Quinta or Indio, enter the address in the web booker for a fixed fare.
| Route | Distance | Clear-road drive | Price or how to book |
|---|---|---|---|
| PSP to downtown Palm Springs | about 5 mi / 8 km | about 10 min | US$125 to US$325 fixed |
| PSP to the Empire Polo Club | about 24 mi / 38 km | about 36 min | Web booker, fixed fare |
| Downtown Palm Springs to the grounds | about 25 mi / 40 km | about 40 min | Hourly or web booker |
| Palm Desert to the grounds | about 10 mi / 16 km | about 19 min | Hourly or web booker |
| Jacqueline Cochran Regional (Thermal) to the grounds | about 9 mi / 15 km | about 20 min | Web booker, fixed fare |
| LAX to the grounds | about 147 mi / 236 km | about 2 h 55 min | City-to-city, web booker |
The festival lists two private airports nearby. Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport in Thermal can take all sizes of jet with no noise curfew, and Bermuda Dunes Airport takes small jets, with turbine operations prohibited after 11 p.m. Tell us the FBO and tail number, and the chauffeur meets the aircraft; see private jet and FBO car service.
Many guests fly into Los Angeles and drive out. The drive from LAX is close to three hours on a clear road and often longer on a Friday; a city-to-city car service in an SUV or Sprinter turns it into time to rest, and the fare is fixed in the web booker. Wherever you land, give us the flight number: the chauffeur tracks the landing and meets you inside arrivals with a name board, and waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary. See airport transfers.
Festival days: drop-off, the long night and the ride home
The licensed black car and limo drop-off is the closest a private car can get. The festival sells passes for it to licensed operators only, and drivers with a pass may serve pre-booked clients only; any car without the pass uses the public pickup and drop-off at Madison Street and Avenue 52. When you book, the desk confirms which of the two your car will use, and tells you the exact walk.
The timing is the hard part. The festival allows black-car drop-offs and staging from noon to 10 p.m., and warns of inbound road closures and delays after 11 p.m. The festival expects the longest rideshare waits between midnight and 2:30 a.m., so the end-of-night pickup has to be planned around those windows. The desk agrees the pickup point and a realistic time with you before the day starts, and the chauffeur waits there.
Three ways to book a festival day:
- Drop-off and set pickup. Two legs at fixed times. Simplest for a couple or a small group staying in one place.
- Evening out and event night (5 hours). From US$500 in a Business Sedan to US$1,000 in an Executive Sprinter. Good for an afternoon arrival and an evening departure with dinner.
- Full-day chauffeur (8 hours). From US$740 in a Business Sedan to US$1,475 in an Executive Sprinter, for long days with a stop at the house to change, or guests arriving at different times.
An hourly chauffeur runs from US$100 an hour in a Business Sedan to US$200 in an Executive Sprinter, three hours minimum, for anything in between. See concert and festival transportation.
Groups, rental houses and hosted guests
Stagecoach weekends are group weekends: friends sharing a rental house in La Quinta, a family with older parents, a brand hosting guests in a VIP area. An Executive Sprinter keeps everyone together, with space for hats, boots and layers for the cold desert night, and it is much easier to meet one vehicle at night than several app rides at the rideshare stand at 1 a.m. For bigger groups the desk books several vehicles on one confirmation. See Sprinter van with driver and group transportation.
The chauffeur follows California rules on what may be carried in the vehicle; enjoy the saloons and the beer gardens at the festival. Child seats are available on request. Companies hosting clients can open a corporate account, and travel advisers can book through travel agent accounts.
Honest alternatives: shuttles, rideshare, taxis and driving yourself
The official shuttle is genuinely good, and for many guests it is the best choice. The festival says its shuttles run dedicated routes, drop off and pick up closest to the festival entry with the shortest walk, depart for the festival from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., and return until 60 minutes after the music ends. A shuttle pass can be bundled with a GA pass.
| Option | Price | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Official festival shuttle | Shuttle pass, bundle discount with GA | Guests staying near a shuttle stop | Fixed departure window |
| Rideshare (Uber, Lyft) | Set by the app; surge at peaks | Flexible plans, small groups | Highest waits from 12 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. at the stand |
| Taxi | Regulated maximum fares | Short trips in the valley | Shared lot at Avenue 52 and Madison |
| Driving and free parking | Free day parking, first come first served | Groups with a designated driver | Late exits; no overnight parking |
| Elly8.net private car | From US$100/hr, 3-hour minimum, fixed | Groups, families, private-jet arrivals, hotels away from shuttle stops | Book early; night pickup windows |
From PSP itself, the airport's parking and transportation page puts rideshare pickups at the south end of the terminal and taxis in the ground transportation area, and taxis may offer a US$25 flat fare on eligible trips. SunLine runs local buses across the valley. A pre-booked chauffeur wins for groups, families with children, private-jet arrivals, late-night departures you want fixed in advance, and anyone who would rather not drive home after a long day in the desert. See chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft and chauffeur vs shared airport shuttle.
Before and after the festival
Many guests add a desert day. The signature Joshua Tree National Park day trip is an 8-hour package from US$740 in a Business Sedan to US$1,475 in an Executive Sprinter, and the private city highlights tour of Palm Springs runs from US$400 to US$800. Visit Greater Palm Springs, the valley's official visitor site, has hotels and events across the cities. The same desk books Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County and Las Vegas, so the trip can begin or end on the coast.
Rides in Palm Springs are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Elly8.net is a member of LimousineWorldwide.Directory, LimousineAssociation.International, HotelsWorldwide.Directory and VacationsWorldwide.Directory. Flights and hotels can be booked through our travel partner BookingWorldwide.net; Elly8.net books the car.

Frequently asked questions
When is Stagecoach 2027?
Stagecoach 2027 runs from Friday, April 23 to Sunday, April 25, 2027 at the Empire Polo Club, 81-800 Avenue 51, Indio, California, the weekend after Coachella on the same grounds.
Where do private cars drop off at Stagecoach?
Licensed black car and limo operators with a festival pass use an on-site drop-off area, open for drop-offs and staging from noon to 10 p.m. Cars without the pass use the public pickup and drop-off at Avenue 52 and Madison Street. The desk confirms which applies when you book.
How much is a car from Palm Springs airport?
The fixed transfer from PSP to downtown Palm Springs costs US$125 in a Business Sedan, US$165 in a Business SUV, US$200 in a First Class SUV, US$220 in a First Class Sedan and US$325 in an Executive Sprinter. Valley resorts and the festival grounds are priced by address in the web booker.
What about getting home after the headliner?
Plan it before you go in. Black-car staging ends at 10 p.m. and inbound roads close after 11 p.m., so the desk agrees a pickup point and time with you that works with those rules, and the chauffeur waits there. Expect some walking and crowds.
Is the official shuttle a better option?
For many guests, yes: it drops off closest to the entry and runs returns until an hour after the music ends. A private car suits groups, families, private-jet arrivals and guests staying away from a shuttle stop.
Can you take a large group?
Yes. An Executive Sprinter seats a group together, from US$200 an hour with a three-hour minimum or the 8-hour full day from US$1,475. Larger groups can book several vehicles on one confirmation.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 72 hours before pickup for free. Within 72 hours the charge is 10%, within 48 hours 50%, and within 24 hours or for a no-show 100%. Refunds go back to the original card.
