The 65th running of the Rolex 24 At Daytona takes place from Thursday, January 28 to Sunday, January 31, 2027, at Daytona International Speedway, according to the speedway's announcement published by IMSA. It opens the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, and the race itself runs twice around the clock, through the night, which is exactly why getting there and back needs planning.
Most visitors who fly in land in Orlando. Elly8.net fixes the airport leg before you travel, MCO to International Drive from US$155 in a business sedan to US$405 in an Executive Sprinter, and runs race days to the speedway as hourly or full-day bookings from US$95 an hour. Rides in Orlando are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How do you get to the Rolex 24 from Orlando?
Daytona International Speedway is about 66 miles (106 km) from Orlando International Airport by road; allow around an hour and a half, more on race weekend. Book a car by the hour, from US$95 with a 3-hour minimum, or an 8-hour full day from US$700, so the chauffeur drops you at the speedway and brings you back at any hour.
The speedway sits on International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach, and the main approaches are I-4 from Orlando and I-95 along the coast. On a clear road the drive from International Drive is about 63 miles (102 km), roughly 80 minutes, and from Orlando Sanford (SFB) about 43 miles (69 km), roughly an hour. Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB), which publishes its own ground transportation information, is a few minutes from the speedway and is the closest commercial airport.
Because Daytona Beach is outside our published Orlando price list, a one-way transfer to a Daytona Beach hotel or the speedway is priced in the web booker, with the same fixed, all-in terms as every other Elly8.net fare. For a day at the race, the hourly and full-day packages are usually the better fit.
What the Rolex 24 weekend looks like
The speedway's event page describes the Rolex 24 as North America's most prestigious sports car race, a 24-hour marathon from sunrise to sunset and through the night. Multi-day admission covers four days of on-track action and includes garage access, with the Hard Rock Bet Fanzone and an autograph session, and it also gives entry to the Roar Before the Rolex 24, the final practice weekend, from January 22 to 24, 2027. The speedway lists NASCAR Foundation's Taste of the 24 on Saturday, January 30, as a hospitality add-on in the Midway Suites.
The speedway's president said fans travel from all 50 states and dozens of countries for the race, and moved the 2027 date so they have time to plan travel and lodging. The DAYTONA 500 follows on February 21, 2027.
Visitors fall into a few groups, and each has a different ground plan:
- Fans on day tickets who stay in Orlando and drive out for the start or the finish.
- Multi-day ticket holders who stay in Daytona Beach or along the coast and want a car for the airport legs.
- Hospitality and suite guests of manufacturers, sponsors and teams, who arrive for the start, leave for dinner and return for the night stint or the finish.
- Team personnel, drivers' families and partners who keep irregular hours across four days.
The transport problem: parking lots, traffic and the middle of the night
The speedway's directions and parking page sets out how the site works on event days, and it is worth reading before you book anything:
- Rideshare. The official pick-up and drop-off is near Lot 1, off the frontage street near Cracker Barrel on International Speedway Boulevard (eastbound), with signs posted along the boulevard.
- Paid lots. Lots 1, 3, 4 and 8 offer paid parking, with day-of parking in some lots until full; for the Rolex 24 the speedway sells Lot 4 parking in advance for Thursday, Friday and a 2-day pass.
- Free lots and shuttle. Lots 7 and 8 offer free parking on select events, with a shuttle from Lot 7 to ONE Daytona.
- Hospitality. Lot 2A is reserved for President's Row, Pit Road Patio and Corporate Turn 1 RV guests, and infield parking is for pass holders and DAYTONA 500 Club guests.
- Leaving. The speedway asks drivers to be patient inside the lots after the race and to follow navigation to I-95, I-4 or the beachside.
The rest of the problem is time. A 24-hour race means people arrive and leave at every hour. An app ride from Daytona to an Orlando hotel at 3:00 a.m. is not something to count on, and driving yourself after a long night at the track is the wrong idea. A pre-booked chauffeur solves both: the car is there when you want to leave, whatever the hour.
The plan for race weekend
Airport arrival. Most visitors land at MCO. Give us the flight number; the chauffeur tracks it and meets you inside arrivals with a name board, with complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. Staying in Orlando, the fixed fare to International Drive applies; staying in Daytona Beach, the transfer is priced in the web booker. See airport transfers and meet and greet.
Race day from Orlando. Book the 8-hour full-day chauffeur, fixed from US$700 in a business sedan to US$1,400 in an Executive Sprinter, or the 10-hour corporate roadshow day, fixed from US$855 to US$1,710, for a long stint at the track. The car takes you to the speedway, the chauffeur waits nearby and you leave when you choose. Where you are set down depends on your ticket and any parking pass; send the pass details with the booking, and if you have none, the chauffeur works to the speedway's published arrangements on the day.
The night stint and the finish. For guests who go back for the night hours or the checkered flag, an hourly booking, as directed, with a 3-hour minimum, is the most flexible: US$95 an hour in a business sedan, US$120 in a business SUV, US$145 in a First Class SUV, US$155 in a First Class Sedan and US$190 in an Executive Sprinter. See car service by the hour.
Hospitality groups. Manufacturers, sponsors and teams moving guests between Orlando hotels and the speedway can book Executive Sprinters with driver and several cars under one reservation. Our sports event transportation and group transportation pages explain how the desk staggers departures. NDAs are available on request for drivers, owners and executives; Elly8.net is not a security company.
Evenings. Dinner in Orlando or on the coast before or after the race fits the 5-hour evening out and event night package, fixed from US$475 in a business sedan to US$950 in a Sprinter. The chauffeur follows Florida rules on what may be carried in the vehicle.
Prices for race weekend: the Orlando packages
Prices on the Orlando price list do not change for the Rolex 24. They are per vehicle, fixed and all-in, and include the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet; tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost, so speedway parking for the car is added at cost where it applies.
| Package | Business sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MCO to International Drive | US$155 | US$205 | US$275 | US$405 |
| SFB to International Drive | US$275 | US$360 | US$485 | US$715 |
| By the hour, as directed (3-hour minimum) | US$95 / hr | US$120 / hr | US$155 / hr | US$190 / hr |
| Full-day chauffeur (8 hours) | US$700 | US$885 | US$1,145 | US$1,400 |
| Corporate roadshow day (10 hours) | US$855 | US$1,080 | US$1,395 | US$1,710 |
The First Class SUV is US$250 from MCO, US$145 an hour and US$1,070 for a full day. The 5-hour evening package runs from US$475 to US$950. Every price is on the Orlando fares panel, and the fleet page shows seats and luggage space for each class.
Race weekend overlaps with the PGA Show at the Orange County Convention Center, which runs from January 26 to 29, 2027. Larger vehicles in the Orlando area are in demand that week, so reserve now to fix the vehicle and the price.
Honest alternatives
For many fans, driving or carpooling to the speedway and using the free lots with the Lot 7 shuttle is the sensible, budget choice, especially in daylight and with a group that shares the driving. The official rideshare zone near Lot 1 works well for a short ride from a Daytona Beach hotel at a normal hour. Flying into DAB, a few minutes from the track, can make sense if you stay in Daytona Beach all weekend.
A chauffeured car earns its place on the long Orlando to Daytona legs, at night, for hospitality guests on a schedule, for families with child seats, and for anyone who wants the cost fixed in advance. For the general comparison, read chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft and chauffeur vs renting a car.
Before and after the race
With a day to spare, the signature Orlando package is an 8-hour trip to Kennedy Space Center, fixed from US$700 in a business sedan to US$1,400 in a Sprinter. Visitors continuing around Florida can book the same fixed-price service as a Jacksonville car service, a Tampa chauffeur, a Palm Beach car service, a Naples, Florida chauffeur, Fort Lauderdale airport transfers or a Miami car service. Longer drives are under city to city car service.

How far is the speedway from Orlando airport?
About 66 miles (106 km) by road from MCO; allow around an hour and a half, more on race weekend. From International Drive it is about 63 miles (102 km), and from Orlando Sanford about 43 miles (69 km). Daytona Beach International Airport is a few minutes from the track.
How much does a car to the Rolex 24 cost?
Race days are usually booked by the hour, from US$95 an hour in a business sedan with a 3-hour minimum, or as an 8-hour full day from US$700 or a 10-hour day from US$855. A one-way transfer to the speedway or a Daytona Beach hotel is priced in the web booker. Parking for the car, where charged, is billed at cost.
Can I get picked up in the middle of the night?
Yes. That is the main reason to book ahead for a 24-hour race. With an hourly or full-day booking the chauffeur waits nearby and leaves when you do; for a separate late pickup, book it in advance with the time you expect to leave and message the desk if it changes.
Where will the car drop me at the speedway?

Without one, the chauffeur works to the arrangements the speedway publishes for the day, which include an official pick-up and drop-off area near Lot 1 on International Speedway Boulevard.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation more than 72 hours before pickup. At 72 hours or less a 10% fee applies, at 48 hours or less 50%, and at 24 hours or less or for a no-show 100%. Refunds go to the original card. If your plans for the night stint change, tell the desk early.
