The NBA returns to Paris on Thursday 14 January 2027, when the San Antonio Spurs play the New Orleans Pelicans at the Accor Arena in Bercy, with the game listed at 8:00 pm Paris time by the Accor Arena. The arena, which has hosted NBA games in Paris since 1994, says the league will be back in 2027 and 2028. Some early listings gave a different January date; the arena's official listing is the one to follow, and your tickets will confirm it.
A regular-season NBA game in Paris is a reason for many fans, including visitors from North America, to build a winter trip around one night. Elly8.net books the ground transport for that trip: a chauffeur at Charles de Gaulle or Orly when you land, a drop-off at the arena on game night, and a car waiting a short walk away when the crowd pours out. Paris prices are fixed, all-in and charged in US dollars, and they do not change for the game.
How do you get to the Accor Arena for the NBA Paris Game?
The Accor Arena is at 8 boulevard de Bercy in the 12th arrondissement, about 6.6 km (4.1 mi) from the 8th by road and about 29 km (18 mi) from CDG. Book a chauffeur who drops you at the arena and meets you at an agreed corner after the game. The five-hour game-night package costs from US$450 in a business sedan.
Bercy is on the Right Bank of the Seine, east of the centre. Before an event the roads around it are busy with drop-offs; after the final buzzer, the whole arena empties at once onto the same few streets and into the same metro stations. That is the moment a pre-booked car earns its fee.
The arena's getting there page gives the public transport options and an interactive map. For drivers, it says parking spaces at the arena car park, 85 rue de Bercy, are only available by booking in advance online, for vehicles under 1.90 m high, and that the car park opens when the arena opens to the public and stays open for one hour after the show. Coaches and minibuses use two separate car parks nearby. A chauffeur avoids all of that: you are dropped at the door, and the car waits at a corner agreed in advance.
Game-night rules worth knowing
The Accor Arena publishes restrictions for this event, and two of them matter for visitors flying in on the day:
- No suitcases or holdalls. The arena says suitcases and large bags are not allowed inside. Backpacks are allowed but must be checked in to the cloakroom.
- No outside food or drinks, and no professional camera equipment.
If your flight lands on 14 January, go to the hotel first and leave your luggage there. An overnight flight from North America usually lands in the morning, which leaves time to check in, rest and eat before the evening. The desk can plan a transfer from the airport to the hotel and a separate evening booking for the game, or one hourly booking that covers both.
The arena also sells VIP experiences with privileged access and services. Hospitality guests should check their package details for any specific entrance, and tell the desk when they book, so the chauffeur can aim for it.
Arriving in Paris for the game
Most visitors from North America land at Charles de Gaulle. Orly handles many European and domestic flights, and Le Bourget is the business aviation airport.
| Airport | Distance to the 8th | Clear-road drive | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Charles de Gaulle (CDG) | 29 km / 18 mi | about 32 min | US$170 | US$225 | US$300 | US$445 |
| Orly (ORY) | 19 km / 12 mi | about 29 min | US$135 | US$180 | US$240 | US$355 |
| Le Bourget (LBG) | 19 km / 12 mi | about 27 min | US$135 | US$180 | US$240 | US$355 |
Prices are per vehicle and include the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet; tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. The 8th arrondissement is our price reference point, and the same fares cover central Paris addresses. By road, the arena itself is about 29 km (18 mi) from CDG and about 16 km (10 mi) from Orly. CDG is spread across Terminal 1, the Terminal 2 halls and Terminal 3, so the chauffeur checks your hall from the flight number, tracks the landing and waits in arrivals with a name board; waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary. See Paris airport transfers and meet and greet. Private flights to Le Bourget are met at the handler named in the booking; see private jet and FBO car service.
The game-night plan
Before the game. The chauffeur collects you at your hotel with time for the evening traffic across the city and for the queues at the arena doors. If you are dining first, the car takes you to the restaurant and on to Bercy.
During the game. On the evening package the car stays yours. The chauffeur waits nearby, follows the game and is ready at the agreed corner after the final buzzer, a short walk away from the busiest exits.
After the game. The chauffeur drives you back to the hotel, or on to dinner or a bar in the Marais, Saint-Germain or the 8th. The chauffeur follows local rules on drinks in vehicles.
The evening out and event night package keeps one car and chauffeur for five hours, from US$450 in a business sedan, US$575 in a business SUV, US$675 in a First Class SUV and US$725 in a First Class Sedan to US$900 in an Executive Sprinter. For a shorter evening, book by the hour, from US$90 in a business sedan with a three-hour minimum. See sports event transportation and hourly chauffeur service.

The rates do not change for the game. Cars for the evening of 14 January are limited, especially larger vehicles for groups, so reserve now.
Groups, families and corporate hosts
Basketball trips are often group trips: a family, a club, a group of friends or a company hosting clients. An Executive Sprinter keeps everyone together from the hotel to the arena and back, with one meeting point after the game. Families can ask for child seats when they book; give the children's ages and the partner fits them before pickup. See group transportation and Sprinter van with driver.
Companies entertaining clients at the game can book several cars under one reference on a corporate account, with monthly invoicing and NDAs on request. Travel agents building basketball packages can book through travel-agent accounts, and hotels through hotel accounts. Elly8.net provides transportation, not security. See also event transportation.
Honest alternatives: metro, RER, taxi and rideshare
Paris public transport is excellent, and many fans will take the metro to Bercy.
| Option | Cost | Best for | Weak point on game night |
|---|---|---|---|
| Metro | Fare per person | Fans with no bags staying near a line | Crowded platforms after the game |
| RER B from CDG | Airport ticket per person | Solo arrivals with light bags | Stairs and changes with luggage |
| Taxi from CDG | €56 fixed to the Right Bank, €65 to the Left Bank | Two travellers, no booking | Rank queues; scarce near the arena after the game |
| Rideshare | Varies with demand | Off-peak trips | Surge and slow pickups as the arena empties |
| Elly8.net chauffeur | CDG from US$170; game night from US$450 | Families, groups, hosts | Book early for 14 January |
Taxi fares between CDG and Paris are fixed rates set by the Paris Police Prefecture, €56 to the Right Bank and €65 to the Left Bank, according to Paris Aéroport. Bercy is on the Right Bank. For one fan staying near a metro line, public transport is the sensible way to the game. A chauffeur is worth it when you are a family or a group, arriving the same day, heading to dinner after the game, or simply not wanting to join the crowd on the platform on a January night. See chauffeur vs taxi and chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft.
Make a trip of it: Paris in January and beyond
A January game leaves days for the city. The private city highlights tour costs from US$360 in a business sedan to US$720 in an Executive Sprinter, and the signature Paris day trip, ten hours to the Champagne houses of Reims and Épernay, from US$830 in a business sedan to US$1,660 in a Sprinter. See private city tours.
Elly8.net also covers London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Geneva, Zurich and, for skiing in January, Courchevel. A train station transfer or a city-to-city car service connects them. More on the city is on our Paris chauffeur service page. Flights and hotels can be booked with our travel partner BookingWorldwide.net; Elly8.net books the car.
