Phoenix Raceway's 2027 Spring NASCAR Weekend runs from Friday 12 March to Sunday 14 March 2027, with the NASCAR Cup Series race on the Sunday, according to the Phoenix Raceway spring race page. The track lists the start time as to be confirmed. The same weekend brings the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, both racing on the Saturday, plus the ARCA Menards Series, so many fans stay for two or three days.
The raceway is at 7602 Jimmie Johnson Drive in Avondale, west of Phoenix, and almost everyone arrives by road along the same few interstate exits. Elly8.net books Phoenix Raceway transportation at fixed, all-in prices: a chauffeur from Phoenix Sky Harbor, a race-day car that drops you at the official pick-up and drop-off zone, and the same car waiting when the checkered flag falls.
How do you get to Phoenix Raceway on race day?
Book a chauffeured car to Phoenix Raceway by the hour, or as a fixed return trip in the web booker. The track's official pick-up and drop-off zone for rideshare, taxis, limousines and buses is the Purple Lot at Entry E, off Jimmie Johnson Drive, so a chauffeur drops you there and meets you there after the race.
That single fact shapes the whole day. The Phoenix Raceway parking and directions page names Entry E (Purple Lot) as the official pick-up and drop-off zone for Uber, Lyft, taxis, limos and buses. Free general parking is in Lots Blue 2 to 6 and Yellow 6 through Entries J, K, L and M, with a tram from Cotton Lane and Harvick Lane, while preferred, premium, suite and motorcycle lots each have their own entry and need a pass.
From downtown Phoenix the track is about 21 miles (34 km), roughly 36 minutes on a clear road on our routing. From Phoenix Sky Harbor it is about 26 miles (41 km), roughly 40 minutes, and from Old Town Scottsdale about 31 miles (50 km), close to 50 minutes. On race morning the I-10 and Loop 202 exits fill early, and after the race the track asks for patience inside the parking areas while the traffic clears.

Arriving at Phoenix Sky Harbor
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is one of the closest big airports to its downtown in the country, about 5 miles (8 km) and around 11 minutes on a clear road. Passenger flights use Terminal 3 and Terminal 4. The fixed PHX to downtown Phoenix transfer runs from US$115 in a Business Sedan, US$150 in a Business SUV and US$185 in a First Class SUV, up to US$300 in an Executive Sprinter. A round trip is US$220 to US$570.
With an Elly8.net airport transfer, the chauffeur tracks the flight and meets you inside arrivals at baggage claim with a name board, with complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. That matters on the Friday and Saturday of race weekend, when the terminals carry fans, teams and crews at once. Families get child seats on request, and a Business SUV takes the coolers-and-camp-chairs end of race luggage more comfortably than a sedan.
Race fans who fly privately can ask the desk about a private jet and FBO transfer from Sky Harbor's general aviation facilities. Give us the FBO and tail number and the chauffeur meets you there.
The race-day plan: Entry E, the race and the drive back
Before the race. The chauffeur collects you at your hotel driveway in downtown Phoenix, Tempe, the Camelback Corridor or Scottsdale. The track recommends specific exits by direction: from I-10, general parking uses Exit 126 (Estrella Parkway) or Exit 128 (Litchfield Road), and pass holders and ADA guests use Exit 131 (Avondale Boulevard); from Loop 202, general parking uses Exit 76 (Buckeye Road) and pass holders Exit 73 (Broadway Road). The chauffeur plans the route to Entry E around those flows.
During the race. On an hourly booking the chauffeur stays in the area and keeps the car ready. If you leave before the finish, a message is enough. If you stay for Victory Lane or the infield experience, the car simply waits longer, and you pay the hourly rate rather than an open-ended meter.
After the race. Most of the crowd leaves at the same moment. The rideshare apps all send drivers to the same Entry E zone, and app prices tend to move with demand at that moment. Your chauffeur is already there, with your name on the booking and a fixed price agreed before you travelled.
Our hourly chauffeur service in Phoenix costs from US$95 per hour in a Business Sedan, US$120 in a Business SUV and US$190 in an Executive Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum. Most race days fit one of the packages: the evening out and event night (5 hours) at US$475 to US$950, the full-day chauffeur (8 hours) at US$700 to US$1,400, or the 10-hour corporate roadshow day at US$855 to US$1,710 for a long Sunday with a dinner afterwards. For a fixed one-way or return price to the track instead, enter your hotel and Phoenix Raceway in the web booker. See also sports event transportation.
Saturday's double header and multi-day bookings
The 2027 spring weekend has an unusually full Saturday. Phoenix Raceway says the NTT INDYCAR SERIES returns alongside the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, with both racing on Saturday, before the Cup Series on Sunday. Fans who come for both days need two round trips to Avondale, and the cleanest way to book them is one reservation with both days, so the desk keeps the same Entry E pattern and, where possible, the same chauffeur.
Sunday-only fans with Hillside tickets or infield experiences should check the track's admission details before the day; the infield and premium areas have their own access, and the chauffeur needs to know which part of the venue you are heading for to choose the right approach. Tell the desk your ticket type when you book.
Groups, hospitality and sponsors
Race weekend is a hospitality weekend. Sponsors bring clients to suites and premium areas, teams host guests, and groups of friends travel in from across the country. An Executive Sprinter seats up to 12 with bags and costs US$190 per hour in Phoenix, so a group of ten pays one fixed rate and arrives together at Entry E. For larger groups, the desk books two or three vehicles under one reference; see Sprinter van with driver and group transportation.
For companies hosting across the weekend, a corporate account puts every ride on one monthly invoice, and travel agents and hospitality planners can book for clients through travel-agent accounts. NDAs are available on request for drivers, team principals or guests who prefer discretion. Elly8.net provides transportation, not security.
Phoenix Raceway transport options compared honestly
| Option | Cost | Best for | Weak point |
|---|---|---|---|
| Drive and park free | General lots Blue 2 to 6 and Yellow 6, tram from Cotton Lane and Harvick Lane | Local fans with their own car | Early arrival, long walk or tram, slow exit |
| Paid and premium lots | Pass required; prices vary by event | Ticket packages that include parking | Still a slow post-race exit |
| Rideshare (Uber, Lyft, Uber Black) | Varies with demand | Solo fans arriving off-peak | Every app sends drivers to Entry E after the race |
| Taxi | Metered; Sky Harbor's rates are US$7 for the first mile and US$2.60 a mile | One-way trips | Hard to find one for the trip back |
| Elly8.net chauffeur | From US$95 per hour, 3-hour minimum, or a fixed booker price | Groups, hosts, families, fans staying in Scottsdale | Must be booked in advance; race weekend books early |
The free general parking is a real option if you have a car and do not mind arriving early and riding the tram. For airport trips, Sky Harbor publishes its taxi rates: US$7 for the first mile, US$2.60 for each additional mile, US$36 an hour for traffic delay and an US$18 minimum, plus a US$20 flat rate to the downtown zone. For one traveller heading downtown with a carry-on, that flat-rate taxi is cheaper than any pre-booked car, and we would say so.
The calculation changes for the raceway. A metered taxi over 26 miles adds up quickly, finding one in Avondale for the return is not easy, and the app pickups after the race all converge on the same zone. A pre-booked chauffeur wins for groups, for fans staying out in Scottsdale, for anyone with children who need seats, and for hosts who want the day to run on time. Read chauffeur vs taxi and chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft for the general comparison.
Before and after the weekend
Plenty of fans make a long weekend of the race. The private city highlights tour runs from US$380 in a Business Sedan to US$760 in an Executive Sprinter, and the Phoenix signature day trip is Sedona's red rocks, a 10-hour package from US$875 in a Business Sedan to US$1,750 in an Executive Sprinter. If you are staying at a resort, our Scottsdale limo service page lists the Scottsdale prices, and fans continuing south can book a city-to-city car service to Tucson.
The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Las Vegas Motor Speedway the following weekend. If you are following the series, our Las Vegas car service page covers Harry Reid International Airport and the Strip, and Palm Springs is another popular desert stop.
