AWS re:Invent 2026 runs from November 30 to December 4, 2026, in Las Vegas, across several venues on the Strip: Caesars Forum, Caesars Palace, Encore, MGM Grand, The Venetian and Wynn, according to the re:Invent FAQs. AWS lists more than 2,200 sessions and an expo with more than 450 AWS Partners, and this year the security content of re:Inforce is folded into re:Invent, with a security focus day on Thursday, December 3, at Wynn.
Registration, the agenda and venue details are on the official re:Invent site. For most attendees, the official shuttles and the monorail are the right way between sessions. Where Elly8.net comes in is everything around them: the airport run with luggage, customer meetings in hotel suites, partner dinners off the Strip, executive teams who cannot afford a shuttle queue, and sponsors moving staff and kit. Every Las Vegas price is fixed and all-in, and the desk works 24/7 through the week.
What is the best way to get around re:Invent?
Use the official re:Invent shuttles and the Las Vegas Monorail, both complimentary with a valid badge, for moving between sessions. Book a chauffeur for the airport, for back-to-back customer meetings across venues, for dinners and parties, and for teams travelling together, where a car on hourly standby saves real time.
The Strip looks compact on a map, but the venues are far apart on foot, and moving through the casino floors, parking structures and driveways of each resort adds time to every trip. During conference week, ride-app pickup zones and taxi lines at the big resorts get busy at session changes, and prices rise when sessions end together.

Venue to venue: the geography
The northern cluster, with The Venetian, Wynn and Encore, sits near Caesars Forum and Caesars Palace in the centre of the Strip; MGM Grand is further south. By road, The Venetian to MGM Grand is about 2.1 miles (3.4 km), around 7 minutes on a clear road, and far longer at session changes.
| Route | Distance | Elly8.net fixed fare |
|---|---|---|
| Harry Reid International (LAS) to the Strip | about 9 mi (14 km) | from US$125 to US$325 |
| Henderson Executive (HND) to the Strip | about 13 mi (21 km) | from US$155 to US$405 |
| North Las Vegas (VGT) to the Strip | about 8 mi (13 km) | from US$125 to US$325 |
| The Venetian to MGM Grand | about 2.1 mi (3.4 km) | by the hour from US$95 an hour |
Arriving at Harry Reid International
Harry Reid International (LAS) has two passenger terminals. If you book a car in advance, the airport says your driver meets you in baggage claim; pre-arranged and private cars collect on the west side of Terminal 1 baggage claim, outside exit doors 7 to 10, and on Level Zero at each end of Terminal 3, as set out on the airport's limousines page. The Elly8.net chauffeur tracks your flight and meets you inside with a name board, with complimentary waiting after a tracked landing.
You can also pick up your badge at the airport: AWS runs badge pickup on Sunday and Monday in Terminals 1 and 3, as well as at MGM Grand and The Venetian, and asks for a government-issued ID. Tell the chauffeur if you plan to stop at the badge desk before leaving the terminal.
Fixed transfers from LAS to the Strip run from US$125 in a business sedan to US$325 in an Executive Sprinter. The airport has also posted lane closures in the airport connector tunnels through December 2026 for repaving, so the desk allows extra time on airport runs this year. See Las Vegas airport transfers.
Private aviation. Executives flying privately often use Henderson Executive (HND) or North Las Vegas (VGT). Give the desk the tail number and FBO and the chauffeur meets you there; see private jet and FBO car service.
The re:Invent plan: when a chauffeur makes sense
Customer and partner meetings. Account teams and partners spend the week in meeting rooms and suites across several resorts, often with customers flying in for one or two days. An hourly chauffeur keeps a car outside, so the next meeting starts on time. In Las Vegas, hourly service runs from US$95 an hour in a business sedan to US$190 an hour in an Executive Sprinter, with a 3-hour minimum.
Executive days. For leaders with keynotes, briefings, press and dinners in one day, the 10-hour corporate roadshow day runs from US$855 to US$1,710, and the 8-hour full-day chauffeur from US$700 to US$1,400. See investor roadshows and multi-meeting days.
Teams and sponsors. Sponsors and exhibitors move staff, demo kit and swag between hotels and the expo. An Executive Sprinter carries a team in one vehicle and one stop at the driveway. For events beyond the conference agenda, see conference transportation and group transportation.
Dinners and parties. Partner dinners and customer events often take place at restaurants off the Strip or in private venues. The 5-hour evening out and event night package runs from US$475 to US$950, with the chauffeur waiting through dinner. Chauffeurs follow local rules on alcohol in vehicles.
A sample day for an account team
- 8:00 a.m. The chauffeur collects two account executives at their hotel and drops them at The Venetian for the morning keynote.
- 10:30 a.m. A customer lands at Harry Reid. A second car meets the customer inside the terminal and takes them straight to a meeting suite, while the team walks from the keynote.
- Noon. Lunch with the customer at a restaurant at another resort. The hourly car, staged nearby, takes them across and waits.
- Afternoon. The customer attends sessions on the official shuttle; the team keeps the car for two partner meetings at MGM Grand and Wynn.
- Evening. A customer dinner off the Strip, then a drop-off at the team's hotel, or back to the airport for a late flight.
That kind of day mixes one fixed airport transfer with a full-day or roadshow booking. The desk will suggest the cheapest combination that still keeps the schedule.
Getting picked up at a Strip resort
Every large resort has its own driveway rules, and pickup points for rideshare, taxis and private cars are often in different places. Before each leg, the chauffeur sends you the exact pickup point and vehicle details by message. On an hourly booking, message the chauffeur as you leave a session or meeting; the car is staged nearby and moves to the door.
If your next session is within the same resort or the one next door, walking or the official shuttle is often faster; the desk will tell you so. Shuttles run continuously between properties during conference hours, and badge holders ride the Las Vegas Monorail free by showing their badges at the entrance.
Corporate accounts for re:Invent teams
Companies sending a delegation to re:Invent can open a corporate account: every traveller's ride on one monthly invoice, itemised by passenger, with one contact at the desk. Assistants and travel managers can book and change cars for the team, and NDAs are available on request for confidential customer meetings. Travel agents can use a travel agent account. For business travel in general, see corporate car service.
Elly8.net vs shuttles, the monorail, taxis and rideshare
Start with the free options. The re:Invent shuttles and the monorail, complimentary with a badge, are the efficient way to move between sessions, and AWS also offers accessible transportation on request at least an hour before pickup. Taxis wait outside baggage claim at both terminals, at Terminal 1 on the east side near doors 1 to 4 and at Terminal 3 on Level Zero near door 52, and rideshare picks up on Level 2 of the Terminal 1 garage and the Valet Level of the Terminal 3 garage, according to the airport's taxi and rideshare page.
A chauffeur is the better choice when time matters more than the fare: a customer waiting in a suite, an executive with a tight schedule, a team with kit, a dinner off the Strip, or the moments when a whole session lets out and every app shows higher prices. The Elly8.net fare is fixed at booking and does not surge. See chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft, chauffeur vs taxi and chauffeur vs shared airport shuttle.

Frequently asked questions
When and where is AWS re:Invent 2026?
From November 30 to December 4, 2026, in Las Vegas, across Caesars Forum, Caesars Palace, Encore, MGM Grand, The Venetian and Wynn. Badge pickup is on Sunday and Monday at Harry Reid International Terminals 1 and 3, MGM Grand and The Venetian.
How much is a car from the airport to the Strip?
Fixed transfers from Harry Reid International to the Strip run from US$125 in a business sedan to US$325 in an Executive Sprinter, all-in with chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet. Tolls and parking are billed at cost.
Should I use the shuttles or a chauffeur between sessions?
For sessions, the official shuttles and the monorail are free with a badge and usually the right choice. Book a chauffeur for customer meetings, executive schedules, teams, dinners off the Strip and airport runs, where waiting for a shuttle or an app costs more than the car.
Where does the chauffeur meet me at the airport?
Inside the terminal with a name board, after tracking your flight. Pre-arranged private cars collect on the west side of Terminal 1 baggage claim, outside doors 7 to 10, and on Level Zero at either end of Terminal 3.
Can our company book cars for the whole team?
Yes. A corporate account covers every traveller's rides on one monthly invoice, itemised by passenger, with one contact at the desk. Sprinters suit teams with kit, and sedans and SUVs suit executives with their own schedules.
Can I book a car by the hour for one evening?
Yes. The 5-hour evening out and event night package runs from US$475 to US$950, and hourly service from US$95 an hour with a 3-hour minimum. The chauffeur waits through dinner and takes you on afterwards.
What is the cancellation policy?
More than 72 hours before pickup, cancellation is free; 72 hours or less costs 10%; 48 hours or less, 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100%. Refunds go to the original card.
