An Atlanta limo bus booked through Elly8.net comes in three practical sizes: a party bus for up to 12 passengers, a stretch SUV limousine for up to 16, and the Executive Sprinter for up to 12 with room for 12 bags. The Sprinter has fixed Atlanta prices of US$190 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or US$950 for a 5-hour evening; the party bus and stretch SUV are priced for your exact date and hours in the web booker.

Choosing comes down to three numbers: how many people ride together at the busiest moment, how many hours the plan really runs from first pickup to last drop-off, and how many stops there are along the way. This guide works through each for Atlanta weddings, bachelor and bachelorette nights, birthdays and game or concert nights, and ends with the questions that keep the contract free of surprises.

How many people fit in a limo bus in Atlanta?

Through Elly8.net in Atlanta, a party bus seats up to 12 passengers, a stretch SUV limousine up to 16, a stretch limousine up to 8 and an Executive Sprinter up to 12 with 12 bags. For larger groups, combine vehicles on one booking: a stretch SUV and a Sprinter together carry up to 28.

Plan around the moment when the most people travel together. For a wedding that is usually the ride from the ceremony to the reception; for a birthday it is the first pickup. Leave a seat or two spare if guests are in formal wear, carrying flowers or travelling with a photographer.

The bag column matters more than it looks. Party vehicles carry very little luggage, which suits a night out but not an airport arrival with suitcases. When a group is landing at Hartsfield-Jackson for a bachelor weekend, the Executive Sprinter is the better tool: ATL to Midtown costs US$390 with room for twelve people and twelve bags.

More than 16 guests

Above 16, put two vehicles on one reservation and the desk times them to travel together:

  • Two Executive Sprinters: up to 24 passengers.
  • A stretch SUV limousine and a Sprinter: up to 28.
  • Two party buses: up to 24.

Our group transportation page explains how the desk coordinates several vehicles, including staggered pickups from different hotels.

How many hours to book

Count from the first pickup to the last drop-off. That includes the drive between venues and the time the vehicle waits while you are inside, which is the part most first-time bookers forget.

A wedding day

A typical Atlanta wedding runs: pickup at the hotel where the party is getting ready, the drive to the ceremony, photographs at a second location, then the reception. Venues such as the Atlanta Botanical Garden in Midtown, beside Piedmont Park, and the Fox Theatre at Peachtree and Ponce host ceremonies and receptions, and many couples photograph at both a city spot and the venue. Five to eight hours is normal. If the reception runs late, either keep the vehicle all evening or release it after the ceremony and book a separate pickup at the end. Our Atlanta wedding limo guide builds out a full wedding day.

A bachelor or bachelorette night

Dinner, one or two stops and the ride home usually fit 5 hours, which matches the evening out package. Start the clock at the first pickup, not at dinner.

A birthday or anniversary

Often 4 to 5 hours, with the vehicle waiting outside the restaurant or venue.

Game and concert nights

Downtown Atlanta puts Mercedes-Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena and the Georgia World Congress Center within a few blocks. The stadium's event calendar shows The R&B Tour with Usher and Chris Brown on November 5, 6, 8, 10 and 11, 2026, the SEC Championship on December 5 and stadium concerts in May and July 2027. On these nights, plan for slow traffic in and a long exit afterwards: 5 hours is the safe default for a show, and the chauffeur arranges a pickup point a block or two from the closures. See our concert transportation page for timing.

Arena nights work the same way on a smaller scale. State Farm Arena, home of the Hawks and a regular stop for touring shows, sits next to the stadium, so a sold-out arena night and a stadium event on the same evening put two crowds onto the same streets. For a group, the advantage of one vehicle is simple: one pickup point, one message to the chauffeur and everyone home together, rather than a dozen phones requesting rides from the same corner at the same moment.

What it costs: realistic budgets

The Executive Sprinter has published Atlanta prices, which makes it the easiest group vehicle to budget.

Prices are fixed, all-in and per vehicle: chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet are included. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.

The party bus, stretch limousine and stretch SUV limousine are priced in the web booker for your exact date, hours and route. The quote is fixed before you pay, and it includes the same items. Dates in spring prom and graduation season, Saturdays in wedding season and big Downtown event nights sell out first, so price them early.

For how these numbers compare with other ways of paying for a limo, including base-rate quotes that add gratuity and fees later, see our Atlanta limo rental prices guide.

One Sprinter or two SUVs?

A group of ten could book two business SUVs at US$120 an hour each, which is US$240 an hour, or one Executive Sprinter at US$190 an hour. The Sprinter is cheaper and keeps everyone together. Two SUVs only make sense if the group splits up during the night.

A sample night out, costed

Here is a typical Atlanta bachelorette or birthday plan for ten friends staying at a Midtown hotel.

  • 7.00 pm: pickup at the hotel.
  • 7.30 pm: dinner in Buckhead, with the vehicle waiting nearby.
  • 9.30 pm: a second stop in Midtown.
  • 11.30 pm: a final stop, then back to the hotel by midnight.

That is 5 hours from first pickup to last drop-off. In an Executive Sprinter, the evening out and event night package covers it at US$950, or US$95 each for ten people, with standard gratuity included. If the group wants a party bus instead, enter the same times and stops in the web booker for a fixed quote.

Two choices change the budget. Starting the night with dinner at the hotel and picking up at 8.30 pm saves more than an hour. Running past midnight means waiting beyond the included time, billed at cost, so if the group might stay out late, book the extra time at the start.

Party bus or Executive Sprinter?

They seat the same number of people but do different jobs.

Choose the party bus when the vehicle is part of the celebration and the group wants to ride as one party between stops. It suits a birthday or bachelorette night with short hops between restaurants and venues, where luggage space does not matter.

Choose the Executive Sprinter when comfort and luggage space matter: wedding parties in formal wear, guest shuttles between a hotel block and the venue, airport groups and long drives such as Stone Mountain or Augusta. Our Sprinter van with driver page describes the cabin, and our party bus rental page covers the party vehicles.

House rules for the night

Every group booking has a few rules, and agreeing them in advance avoids awkward moments.

  • Alcohol. The chauffeur follows local rules, and laws on drinks in vehicles differ by place. Do not plan the night around drinking on board; ask the desk what applies to your booking.
  • Capacity. The chauffeur cannot carry more passengers than the vehicle's seats.
  • Damage and cleaning. Leave the vehicle as you found it.
  • Stops. List every planned stop in the booking notes so the chauffeur plans parking and timing.

For prom and graduation groups, the rules are stricter and parents should see them in writing; our Atlanta prom limo checklist sets them out.

Questions to ask before you book

  1. What is the exact vehicle, and how many seats does it have?
  2. What is the total price for my hours, including gratuity, taxes and fees?
  3. What is the minimum number of hours on my date?
  4. What happens if we run over the booked time?
  5. Is the operator licensed and insured? In Georgia, limousine carriers hold certificates from the Georgia Department of Public Safety, according to its Motor Carrier Compliance Division.
  6. What are the cancellation terms?
  7. Will I receive written confirmation with pickup times, stops and the chauffeur's details?

With Elly8.net: rides in Atlanta are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show, refunded to the original card.

Groups often combine Atlanta with a weekend away. The same booking works for a Nashville party bus or Sprinter for Broadway, a Savannah limo for the Historic District or a Charleston car service. All prices for Atlanta itself are on the Atlanta limo service page.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a limo bus in Atlanta?

The Executive Sprinter, which seats 12 with 12 bags, costs US$190 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, US$950 for a 5-hour evening and US$1,400 for an 8-hour day, all-in. The party bus and stretch SUV limousine are priced for your exact date and hours in the web booker, with a fixed quote before you pay.

How many people fit in an Atlanta party bus?

Up to 12 passengers in the party bus, up to 16 in the stretch SUV limousine and up to 8 in a stretch limousine. For bigger groups, two vehicles can be booked together, for example a stretch SUV and a Sprinter for up to 28 guests.

How many hours should we book for a wedding?

Most Atlanta weddings need 5 to 8 hours from the first pickup at the getting-ready hotel to the last drop-off after the reception. If the reception runs late, it can be cheaper to release the vehicle after the ceremony and book a separate end-of-night pickup.

Can the limo bus wait during a concert or game?

Yes, on hourly and package bookings the vehicle waits at an agreed point. On big nights at Mercedes-Benz Stadium or State Farm Arena, the chauffeur sets a pickup point a block or two from the street closures so you can find the vehicle quickly.

Can we drink on an Atlanta party bus?

The chauffeur follows local rules, and laws on drinks in vehicles differ by place, so do not plan the night around drinking on board. Ask the desk what applies when you book. For prom and other under-21 groups, alcohol is not allowed.

How far ahead should we book a limo bus in Atlanta?

For spring prom and graduation weekends, wedding Saturdays and big Downtown event nights, book as soon as the date is set, because party buses and stretch SUV limousines are limited and go first. For other dates, a few weeks is usually enough, and the Executive Sprinter is often available at shorter notice.
