The 2027 WM Phoenix Open, the 92nd edition of "The People's Open," is scheduled for February 8 to 14, 2027, at TPC Scottsdale's Stadium Course, according to the tournament's official site. It is known for the largest and loudest crowds in golf and for the 16th hole Coliseum, and the week stretches well beyond four rounds: a Concert in the Coliseum on Saturday, February 6, free general admission days on February 8 and 9, the pro-am on Wednesday, February 10, and the tournament rounds from Thursday, February 11, to Sunday, February 14.
For anyone arriving by car, the week is also about road restrictions, remote lots and a long walk from the shuttle. How do you get to TPC Scottsdale during the WM Phoenix Open?
Use the official drop-off. At the 2026 tournament, Lot R, reached from Pima Road, was the designated lot for rideshare, taxis and stop-and-drop, and general parking was reached from Loop 101 at Princess Boulevard or Bell Road, not Scottsdale or Hayden Road. A chauffeur drops you at the designated lot and meets you there afterwards.
TPC Scottsdale is in north Scottsdale, about 11 miles (18 km) from Old Town on our routing, roughly 21 minutes on a clear road. From Phoenix Sky Harbor it is about 23 miles (37 km), roughly 35 minutes, and from Scottsdale Airport less than 3 miles (4 km). On tournament days those times stretch, especially on Friday and Saturday, when the crowds peak.
The tournament's 2026 parking FAQs set the pattern. Because of traffic restrictions on 78th Street and Mayo Boulevard, general parking was not accessible from Scottsdale Road or Hayden Road, and those Loop 101 exits were reserved for ADA access and credentialed passes. Remote lots at WestWorld ran all week, and a lot at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, about 7.6 miles south of the course, ran Wednesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a free shuttle. The organizer says parking operations, routes and lot availability may change before the 2027 event and will be updated on its spectator information page; we follow those updates and set your drop-off point to match.
Gates opened at 7 a.m. at the Main and Princess entrances and at 7:15 a.m. at Hayden in 2026, and on Friday and Saturday the organizer asked early arrivals heading for the 16th hole to use the Main entrance.

Tournament week is one of the busiest private aviation weeks in the West. Scottsdale Airport is a city-run general aviation airport inside the Scottsdale Airpark, with U.S. Customs service for international arrivals and no airline terminal. A tournament day with an hourly chauffeur
Morning. The car collects you at your resort with time to spare before your tee-time viewing, a hospitality brunch or the gates opening. It drops you at the designated lot, and the pickup point and time are confirmed by text.
At the course. Hospitality guests often have their own entrance and credentials; tell us which venue you are in and we plan the closest permitted drop-off. Remember the bag rules: the tournament allows opaque bags no larger than 6 by 6 by 6 inches, and clear bags within its listed size, so leave larger bags in the car or at the resort.
Evening. The tournament week fills Old Town's restaurants and bars at night. The five-hour evening package covers the pickup from the course, a stop to change and dinner. The chauffeur follows Arizona's rules on drinks in vehicles, with no exceptions for a celebration.

Sky Harbor publishes uniform taxi rates: US$7 for the first mile, US$2.60 for each additional mile, US$36 an hour for traffic delay and an US$18 minimum. At those rates a 10-mile trip to Old Town meters at about US$30 before delay time and tip, well below our US$140 sedan, and for one traveler with a carry-on landing mid-afternoon it is a sensible choice. Public transport is a weak option for Scottsdale: Valley Metro Rail serves Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa rather than Scottsdale.
For the course itself, the tournament's own lots and shuttles work for most local fans. A pre-booked chauffeur wins when you are hosting clients, carrying golf bags, bringing children, staying at a resort far from the shuttle lots, or want to leave on the 18th green rather than in the shuttle queue.
