The Genesis Invitational 2027 is played from Thursday, February 18 to Sunday, February 21, 2027, at The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, according to the tournament's official site. Hosted by Tiger Woods, whose PGA TOUR debut came at Riviera in 1992, it is one of the TOUR's Signature Events, with an elite field of 72 players. The tournament week, listed on the PGA TOUR's 2027 schedule as February 15 to 21, closes the West Coast swing.
Riviera is a famous course with almost no room for cars. There is no public parking at the club or on the surrounding streets, and the tournament runs spectators in by shuttle from Santa Monica or through a designated rideshare point. Elly8.net plans the week with a chauffeur who meets you at LAX, Burbank or Van Nuys, drops you at the official drop-off, waits or returns for the pickup, and takes you on to dinner in Santa Monica or Beverly Hills, at fixed, all-in prices that do not change for tournament week.
How do you get to Riviera for the Genesis Invitational?
By shuttle from downtown Santa Monica, or by car to the official rideshare drop-off and pick-up point at 1450 Allenford Avenue, a short walk from the entrance. There is no public parking at Riviera or on nearby streets, which carry parking restrictions from February 17 to 21. A chauffeur uses the drop-off point and meets you there afterwards.
The tournament's spectator guide is precise. All public parking is in Santa Monica's downtown structures S1, S2, S4 to S8 and Lot 27, at regular rates. Complimentary shuttles run Thursday to Sunday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., from a stop on Wilshire Boulevard between 2nd and 3rd Streets to the main entrance on Longworth Drive, a ride of about four miles. Streets around the club are restricted from Wednesday, February 17 to Sunday, February 21, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Gates open at 7 a.m. on all four tournament days; the collegiate showcase, practice rounds and the pro-am earlier in the week are closed to the public.
On our routing, Riviera is about 7.4 miles (12 km) from Beverly Hills, roughly 18 minutes on a clear road, and about 15 miles (24 km) from LAX, roughly 26 minutes. Sunset Boulevard and the canyon roads are rarely clear on a tournament morning, so the car leaves earlier than the map suggests.

Arriving in Los Angeles: LAX, Burbank, Van Nuys and John Wayne
Our Los Angeles prices are set to Beverly Hills, per vehicle and all-in:
| Airport | Distance to Beverly Hills | To Riviera | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Los Angeles International (LAX) | about 12 mi (20 km), about 22 min clear | about 15 mi (24 km) | US$170 | US$225 | US$300 | US$445 |
| Hollywood Burbank (BUR) | about 13 mi (21 km), about 27 min clear | about 20 mi (32 km) | US$175 | US$230 | US$310 | US$455 |
| Van Nuys (VNY) | about 16 mi (26 km), about 25 min clear | about 15 mi (24 km) | US$200 | US$260 | US$350 | US$520 |
| John Wayne Orange County (SNA) | about 50 mi (80 km), about 64 min clear | longer | US$370 | US$485 | US$650 | US$965 |
Round trips run from US$325 in a business sedan from LAX to US$1,835 in an Executive Sprinter from John Wayne. At LAX, taxis and app rides use the LAX-it pickup lot outside the terminal loop, which adds a shuttle ride for anyone who has not pre-booked; your chauffeur instead tracks your flight, meets you inside arrivals with a name board and waits at no charge after a tracked landing. Los Angeles World Airports describes the wider ground-access program, including the SkyLink train, on its LAX transformation page. See airport transfers and meet and greet.
Van Nuys Airport in the San Fernando Valley is the usual choice for private jets, and it is about as close to Riviera as LAX, over the Sepulveda Pass. Give us the FBO and the tail number and the chauffeur meets you where the operator allows; see private jet and FBO car service. NDAs are available on request.
A tournament day with an hourly chauffeur
Morning. The car collects you at your hotel in Santa Monica, Brentwood, Beverly Hills or West Hollywood and runs you to the Allenford Avenue drop-off for the 7 a.m. gates or your group's tee time. The pickup point and time are confirmed by text.
At the course. Leave large bags in the car. The tournament allows opaque bags of 6 by 6 by 6 inches or smaller and clear bags up to 12 by 12 by 6 inches, tickets are digital only with no box office at the gate, and the grounds are cashless. Hospitality guests should tell us their venue so we can plan the walk.
Afternoon and evening. On weekend broadcast days, play runs into the afternoon. The car meets you after your last group, takes you back to change, and on to dinner. The five-hour evening package covers an evening in Santa Monica or Beverly Hills; the chauffeur follows California's rules on drinks in vehicles.
Packages in Los Angeles, per vehicle and all-in:
| Package | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| By the hour, as directed (3-hour minimum) | US$105 per hour | US$135 per hour | US$170 per hour | US$210 per hour |
| Evening out & event night (5 hours) | US$525 | US$675 | US$850 | US$1,050 |
| Full-day chauffeur (8 hours) | US$775 | US$995 | US$1,255 | US$1,550 |
| Corporate roadshow day (10 hours) | US$945 | US$1,215 | US$1,530 | US$1,890 |
A tournament day with a client dinner usually fits the eight-hour full day or the ten-hour corporate roadshow day. Shorter visits work by the hour, and sports event transportation explains how we plan drop-offs and the post-round wait. Prices include the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet; parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
Sponsors, hospitality guests and groups
The Genesis Invitational is a big corporate week, with hospitality venues on the course and client entertaining around the city. An Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 passengers at US$210 per hour in Los Angeles and keeps a group together from the hotel to the drop-off point and back. For larger groups, several vehicles run under one reference with one meeting point. See group transportation, Sprinter van hire with a driver and event transportation.
A corporate account puts the week on one monthly invoice with a reference per guest, and our corporate car service covers the meetings around it. Travel planners can book through travel-agent accounts. The desk signs NDAs on request; Elly8.net provides transportation, not security.
A busy February in Los Angeles
The tournament lands in the middle of a crowded month. The 69th Grammy Awards are scheduled for February 7, 2027, and Super Bowl LXI is at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on February 14, 2027, the Sunday before the first round. Hotels and cars around the Westside are in demand for two straight weeks, so book the whole stay at once. On the course, the tournament's California Rises installation continues Genesis's support for schools and communities affected by wildfires in Southern California.
If you stay on, the Malibu and Pacific Coast Highway day trip (8 hours) runs from US$775 in a business sedan to US$1,550 in an Executive Sprinter, and the private city highlights tour from US$420 to US$840. Elly8.net also covers Orange County, Santa Barbara, San Diego and Palm Springs. More on the city is on our Los Angeles car service page. Flights and hotels can be booked through our travel partner BookingWorldwide.net; Elly8.net books the car.
Genesis Invitational transport options compared honestly
| Option | Cost | Best for | Weak point |
|---|---|---|---|
| Park in Santa Monica, take the tournament shuttle | Regular structure rates; shuttle free | Fans driving in for one day | Structure, walk and shuttle queue each way |
| Rideshare to 1450 Allenford Avenue | Varies with demand | Short trips from the Westside | Surge and waits at the pickup point after play |
| Metro to the airport (K Line, C Line) | US$1.75 regular fare | One traveler, light bag | Not to Riviera; connection needed |
| Taxi | Metered | Short hops with no booking | LAX-it queue; meter runs in traffic |
| Elly8.net chauffeur | From US$170 LAX transfer, US$105 per hour | Hospitality guests, groups, families, golf travelers | Book ahead; February is busy |
The tournament's own shuttle from Santa Monica is well run, and for a local fan driving in for one day it is the sensible choice. The Metro regular fare is US$1.75 and suits a solo traveler with a carry-on going to the airport. App rides are fine for a short daytime hop to the Allenford Avenue point when prices are normal. A pre-booked chauffeur wins when you are hosting clients, landing late, bringing children who need seats, staying in Beverly Hills or further east, or want a car waiting when the final group finishes rather than an app queue. Downtown Santa Monica's parking and transport information is on the City of Santa Monica's site. See Uber Black vs a pre-booked chauffeur and chauffeur vs taxi.

Frequently asked questions
When is the 2027 Genesis Invitational?
The four tournament rounds are February 18 to 21, 2027, at The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, with gates opening at 7 a.m. The collegiate showcase on February 15, practice rounds on February 16 and the pro-am on February 17 are closed to the public.
Where can a car drop me off at Riviera?
At the tournament's designated rideshare drop-off and pick-up point, 1450 Allenford Avenue, Los Angeles, a short walk from the entrance. There is no public parking at the club or on the surrounding streets during tournament week, so the chauffeur drops you there and meets you at the same point.
How much is a car from LAX during the tournament?
The price does not change for tournament week. LAX to Beverly Hills is US$170 in a business sedan, US$225 in a business SUV and US$445 in an Executive Sprinter, all-in, with meet and greet inside arrivals. Hotels near Riviera are priced in the web booker.
Can you meet my private jet at Van Nuys?
Yes. Van Nuys to Beverly Hills is US$200 in a business sedan and US$520 in an Executive Sprinter, all-in, and Riviera is about 15 miles away. Give us the FBO and tail number, and the chauffeur meets you where the operator allows.
Should I use the tournament shuttle instead?
If you are driving in yourself, yes: park in a downtown Santa Monica structure and take the free shuttle, which runs 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday to Sunday. A chauffeur is better for hospitality guests, groups, families and anyone staying away from Santa Monica.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 72 hours before pickup and it is free. At 72 hours or less the fee is 10%, at 48 hours or less 50%, and at 24 hours or less, or a no-show, 100%. Refunds go to the original card. Times can be changed through the 24/7 desk.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, on request. Tell us each child's age and weight when you book so the right seat is fitted before pickup. The Genesis Family Zone on the course makes the tournament a manageable day out with children.
Can you move a hospitality group every day of the week?
Yes. An Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 passengers at US$210 per hour in Los Angeles, and larger groups book several vehicles under one reference. Corporate accounts receive one monthly invoice with a reference per guest.
