Shoptalk Spring 2027 is held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas from Monday 22 to Wednesday 24 March 2027, according to the organiser's travel and venue page. Shoptalk calls it the world's largest retail innovation gathering, and its event site promises more than 10,000 attendees, with one in three from the C-suite across retail, consumer brands and technology. Its Meetup programme schedules one-to-one meetings on site, and the organiser says the 2026 edition saw more than 50,000 of them.
That profile shapes the transport. Shoptalk attendees are mostly executives with dense agendas: a keynote, a run of Meetup slots, then an off-site lunch with a retailer, an investor breakfast at another resort and a team dinner that night. Elly8.net books Shoptalk transportation as a fixed-price plan: a chauffeur from Harry Reid International to Mandalay Bay, an hourly car for the days that leave the convention floor, and a car for the evening.
How do you get to Shoptalk at Mandalay Bay?
Take a pre-booked fixed transfer from Harry Reid International Airport to Mandalay Bay, from US$125 in a Business Sedan, all-in. Once you are there, sessions and Meetup slots are under one roof, so book a chauffeur by the hour only for days with off-site meetings, investor breakfasts or client dinners elsewhere on the Strip.
Mandalay Bay is at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, and it is one of the closest Strip resorts to the airport: about 7 miles (11 km) by road on our routing. The drive still takes longer than the distance suggests, because airport roads, the connector tunnels and resort driveways all add minutes. Shoptalk has secured discounted rates at Mandalay Bay and its neighbour Luxor, so most attendees are within walking distance of the show.
The week is busy on the Strip as a whole. Adobe Summit runs at The Venetian Convention and Expo Center from 22 to 25 March, about 3 miles (5 km) up the Strip from Mandalay Bay, and the NASCAR weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway ends on Sunday 21 March. Expect more convention traffic than usual on the Monday and Tuesday.

Arriving at Harry Reid International
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) has two passenger terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. App pickups use Level 2 of the Terminal 1 parking garage and the Valet Level of the Terminal 3 garage, and taxis queue outside baggage claim, according to the airport's taxi and ride share page. On a Sunday afternoon before a big conference week, those garage levels are crowded.
An Elly8.net airport transfer avoids them. The chauffeur tracks the flight, waits inside arrivals with a name board and walks you to the car, with complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. Executives on private aircraft arriving at Henderson Executive Airport (HND), south of the Strip, or North Las Vegas Airport (VGT) are met at the FBO; see private jet and FBO transfers.
| Route | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class SUV | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LAS to the Strip (Mandalay Bay) | US$125 | US$165 | US$200 | US$325 |
| LAS round trip to the Strip | US$240 | US$315 | US$380 | US$620 |

| By the hour, as directed (3-hour minimum) | US$95 per hour | US$120 per hour | US$145 per hour | US$190 per hour |
The First Class Sedan is on the Las Vegas price list too, at US$220 for the LAS leg. Every price is per vehicle, fixed and all-in.
The Shoptalk day plan: on site, off site and after hours
On-site days. If your agenda is all sessions and Meetup slots, you do not need a car between them. Keep the booking for the airport and the evening.
Off-site meetings. Many retailers, brands and investors hold their real meetings away from the show floor, in suites at other resorts or at restaurants along the Strip. An hourly chauffeur is the efficient answer, from US$95 per hour in a Business Sedan, US$120 in a Business SUV and US$190 in an Executive Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum. The chauffeur waits at the resort's private-car area, you message when you are done, and the next address is already planned.
Investor and analyst days. For a schedule of six or seven meetings, the corporate roadshow day (10 hours) is fixed from US$855 in a Business Sedan to US$1,710 in an Executive Sprinter, with one car and one chauffeur all day. Our roadshow chauffeur page explains how the stops are sequenced. The full-day chauffeur (8 hours) is US$700 to US$1,400.
Evenings. Retail dinners, brand parties and agency receptions run across the Strip after the show closes. The evening out and event night package (5 hours) is US$475 in a Business Sedan to US$950 in an Executive Sprinter. Tell the desk the order of stops; the chauffeur knows where each resort lets private cars wait and follows local rules on drinks in vehicles.
Timing cars around Meetup and the south Strip
Meetup slots are short and back to back, which makes them the worst moment to leave the building. The most reliable pattern is to cluster off-site meetings into one block, for example a late morning or the hour after lunch, and book the car for that block rather than for scattered single trips. A three-hour minimum on an hourly booking covers a meeting at another resort, the drive both ways and a buffer if the conversation runs long.
The south end of the Strip has its own rhythm. Mandalay Bay, Luxor and their neighbours share the same stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard, so at session changes and in the early evening the resort driveways and the boulevard itself slow down. If your meeting is at The Venetian, Wynn or a resort further north, leave more time than the 3-mile distance suggests, and let the chauffeur choose between the boulevard and the parallel roads on the day.
For the airport, the day before the show opens and the final afternoon are the usual pressure points of any three-day conference. Book the departure leg when you book the arrival, give the desk your flight time, and the pickup is set with a margin for the resort driveway and the airport approach. The LAS round trip covers both legs from US$240 in a Business Sedan, US$315 in a Business SUV and US$620 in an Executive Sprinter.
Retail teams, brands and delegations
Brands and solution providers often send teams of six to ten: executives, sales leads and the people who staff meetings. An Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 passengers with luggage, US$325 from LAS to Mandalay Bay or US$190 per hour, which keeps a team together for the arrival and for a group dinner. For teams that split during the day, book one Sprinter for group runs and sedans for individual meetings; see conference transportation and Sprinter van with driver.
A corporate account puts every traveller on one monthly invoice with saved profiles, and our corporate car service explains how the desk handles changes. Event agencies and travel managers can book for clients through travel-agent accounts. For confidential retailer or investor meetings, NDAs are available on request and chauffeurs are briefed only on the route. Elly8.net provides transportation, not security.
Shoptalk transport options compared honestly
| Option | Cost | Best for | Weak point |
|---|---|---|---|
| Walking within Mandalay Bay and Luxor | Free | Attendees at the official hotels | Only covers the south end of the Strip |
| Taxi from LAS | Flat zone fare from about US$22.25, plus a US$3.00 card fee | One or two people with light bags | Queue at peak arrival times; special-event surcharges |
| Rideshare (Uber, Lyft, Uber Black) | Varies with demand | Flexible solo trips | Garage pickups at LAS; evening surge |
| Elly8.net chauffeur | LAS from US$125 fixed; hourly from US$95 | Executives, investor days, teams, dinners | Must be booked in advance; conference weeks book early |
Mandalay Bay is in the first taxi zone south of Tropicana Avenue, so the airport taxi is good value. The Nevada Taxicab Authority lists an approximate flat fare of about US$22.25 from the airport to Zone 1, which runs from Sunset Road north to Tropicana Avenue, plus a 3% excise tax and a US$3.00 card fee. For one traveller with a carry-on, that is far cheaper than our sedan and the sensible choice.
A pre-booked chauffeur earns its price in other situations: a late arrival into a long taxi line, a team of six who would need two taxis, an executive with a full day of off-site meetings, a client dinner that needs to start on time, and any trip where the budget must be known before the week begins. There is no surge on a fixed price. See chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft and chauffeur vs taxi.
Speakers, press and executive arrivals
Shoptalk's speakers come from established retailers, consumer brands, startups, technology providers, consultants, agencies, analysts and investors, and many of them fly in for a single day. For a speaker on a tight turnaround, the cleanest plan is a fixed LAS transfer in, a car on standby by the hour while you speak and meet, and a timed departure, all on one booking. The desk tracks the inbound flight and the chauffeur meets you inside arrivals, so a late landing does not eat into rehearsal time.
Before and after the show
Attendees arriving early for the weekend can take the signature Hoover Dam and Lake Mead day trip (6 hours), from US$525 in a Business Sedan to US$1,050 in an Executive Sprinter; Mandalay Bay's south-Strip location puts it on the way. The private city highlights tour starts at US$380. Retail executives continuing to meetings in Southern California or Arizona can book a city-to-city car service to Los Angeles, San Diego or Phoenix. Flights and hotels can be booked through our travel partner BookingWorldwide.net; Elly8.net books the car.

Booking takes three steps:
- Enter the pickup and drop-off, with your flight number for airport legs.
- Choose the vehicle: Business Sedan, Business SUV, First Class Sedan or SUV, or Executive Sprinter. The fleet page shows seats and luggage.
- Press Reserve now on the Las Vegas price list, or use the web booker for any address not on the list. Confirmation arrives by email.
Prices include the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. Prices do not change for Shoptalk; availability does, and with two conferences on the Strip in the same week, early reservations are the safe choice.
