Primavera Sound Barcelona 2027 runs from Wednesday 2 to Sunday 6 June 2027 at the Parc del Fòrum, the waterfront esplanade at the far end of the Avinguda Diagonal. The festival confirms the dates and venue on its 2027 ticket information page, where a general full-festival ticket is listed at €360 plus fees and a VIP ticket at €560 plus fees. Alongside it, the Primavera Pro industry programme of conferences, workshops and showcases runs from 2 to 4 June at the Disseny Hub Barcelona.
The festival draws an international audience, and many visitors fly in for the whole week. The transport problem is not getting there: the Fòrum is easy to reach in daylight. It is getting back to an Eixample or Gothic Quarter hotel late at night, five nights running, when thousands of people leave at once and the metro has either closed or is packed. How do you get home from Primavera Sound late at night?

The Barcelona metro closes at midnight on Wednesday and Thursday and at 2 a.m. on Friday, runs all night on Saturday and closes at midnight on Sunday, per TMB.
Those metro hours, published by TMB, define the week. Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 June end at midnight, Friday 4 June at 2 a.m., Saturday 5 June runs continuously through the night into Sunday, and Sunday 6 June closes at midnight. On every night except Saturday, a set that ends after the last train leaves you with a taxi rank queue or a rideshare search in a crowd.

Where the Fòrum is, and how far
The Parc del Fòrum sits on the coast at the north-eastern end of the Diagonal, beyond the Diagonal Mar towers and the 22@ technology district. On our routing it is about 8.5 km (5 mi) from Passeig de Gràcia, around 16 minutes on a clear road, and about 21 km (13 mi) from El Prat airport, roughly 26 minutes.

Festival nights are slower. The Diagonal and the coastal ring road carry festival traffic in both directions in the evening, and the area around the gates fills with taxis, rideshare cars and pedestrians at closing time. We set pickup points accordingly.
Where you stay changes the plan
Diagonal Mar and Poblenou. The hotels near the Fòrum are the easiest base: many are within walking distance of the gates, and a car is mainly useful for the airport and for dinners in town. If you stay here, book the El Prat transfer and keep evenings flexible by the hour.
The Eixample and Passeig de Gràcia. A popular base for first-time visitors, with wide streets that make hotel pickups simple. It is also far enough from the Fòrum that the late ride home is the one that matters most, which is where a pre-booked car pays for itself.
The Gothic Quarter, El Born and the Raval. Atmospheric, central and full of pedestrian lanes. Many hotel doors cannot be reached by car, so the chauffeur stops at the nearest permitted point and, where needed, walks you to the corner. Arriving at El Prat
Flights from North America use Terminal 1 at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat; Terminal 2 handles mainly low-cost and short-haul carriers, and the two are several kilometres apart. There are two sensible ways to book a festival night. If you want a car to take you there and bring you back, with dinner first, the Evening out and event night package covers five hours with the car. If you only need the ride home, book a pickup at the Fòrum at a set time, by the hour with the 3-hour minimum, or price it address to address in the web booker.
