Milano Fashion Week Women's, the Milano Moda Donna presentation of the Autumn/Winter 2027-2028 collections, runs from 23 February to 1 March 2027, according to the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the organiser. The following edition, Spring/Summer 2028, is scheduled for 21 to 27 September 2027, and the men's shows for Autumn/Winter 2027/2028 come earlier, from 15 to 19 January 2027. The calendar brings editors, buyers, stylists, photographers and clients to the city for a week of runway shows, presentations and appointments.
Fashion week in Milan is not one venue. Shows run in palazzi, showrooms, theatres and industrial spaces across the city, and a typical day for an editor or a buyer is a string of appointments in different districts, with doors that close on time. Elly8.net books the car that makes that day work: a chauffeur at Malpensa or Linate on arrival, then a car and driver by the hour that follows your schedule from the first show to the last dinner. Milan prices are fixed, all-in and charged in US dollars, and they do not change for fashion week.
Do you need a car for Milan Fashion Week?
For a schedule of shows, presentations and showroom appointments across Milan, yes: a chauffeur by the hour, from US$90 in a business sedan with a three-hour minimum, waits at each venue and takes you straight to the next. For full show days, the ten-hour corporate roadshow day costs from US$810.
The difficulty is not distance. Milan is compact; most show venues are a short drive apart. The difficulty is timing. Shows start close together, guests leave at the same moment, and the streets outside a venue fill with cars, photographers and people trying to find a taxi. An editor who walks out of one show needs to be seated at the next fifteen minutes later.
A dedicated chauffeur solves that. The car waits nearby, the chauffeur watches the time, and when you text, the car is at the agreed corner. Between appointments the car holds your bags, samples or a change of shoes, and at the end of the day it takes you to dinner. Send the desk your calendar and the chauffeur plans the order of the day.
The February 2027 calendar
| Event | Dates | Organiser |
|---|---|---|
| Milano Moda Uomo, Autumn/Winter 2027/2028 | 15 to 19 January 2027 | CNMI |
| Milano Moda Donna, Autumn/Winter 2027/2028 | 23 February to 1 March 2027 | CNMI |
| Milano Moda Donna, Spring/Summer 2028 | 21 to 27 September 2027 | CNMI |
The day-by-day schedule, with runway shows, presentations, appointments and events, is published on the CNMI calendar closer to the week. Show invitations and accreditation come from the brands and from CNMI; the car is booked once your schedule is clear, and the desk adjusts the plan as appointments move. For the previous edition, the September 2026 shows ran from 22 to 28 September.
Arriving for fashion week: Malpensa, Linate or Bergamo
Guests from North America land at Malpensa; those coming from Paris, London or New York via a European hub, or from the Rome shows, often use Linate, the city airport.
| Airport | Distance to the Quadrilatero | Clear-road drive | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Linate (LIN) | 9 km / 6 mi | about 17 min | US$110 | US$145 | US$195 | US$290 |
| Malpensa (MXP) | 47 km / 29 mi | about 51 min | US$230 | US$300 | US$405 | US$600 |
| Bergamo Il Caravaggio (BGY) | 55 km / 34 mi | about 53 min | US$250 | US$325 | US$440 | US$650 |
Prices are per vehicle and include the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet; tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. First Class SUV fares are US$180 from Linate, US$370 from Malpensa and US$400 from Bergamo. The chauffeur tracks the flight, waits inside arrivals with a name board and gives you complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. See Malpensa airport transfers and meet and greet. Private jets are met at the FBO named in the booking; see private jet and FBO car service.
Fashion teams often travel with sample trunks and garment bags. Tell the desk how many cases you have: a Business SUV takes four passengers with large luggage, and an Executive Sprinter moves a team and its samples in one vehicle. See Sprinter van with driver.
A show day with a chauffeur
Morning. The chauffeur collects you at your hotel in the Quadrilatero, Brera, Porta Nuova or near the Duomo, with the day's schedule already planned.
During the day. Shows, presentations, showroom appointments and lunch, in a different district each time. The chauffeur drops you at the door, waits nearby and is ready when you leave, so you are not standing outside a venue in February looking for a ride. A chauffeur by the hour costs from US$90 in a business sedan, US$115 in a business SUV, US$145 in a First Class Sedan and US$180 in an Executive Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum.
Evening. Fashion week evenings are dinners, parties and late appointments. The evening out and event night package keeps one car for five hours, from US$450 in a business sedan to US$900 in an Executive Sprinter. The chauffeur follows local rules on drinks in vehicles.
Full days. For a day that starts at breakfast and ends after dinner, book the ten-hour corporate roadshow day, from US$810 in a business sedan, or the eight-hour full-day chauffeur from US$665. A common pattern is one of these for each show day and an airport transfer at each end. See hourly chauffeur service, roadshow chauffeur and event transportation.

| Package | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| By the hour, as directed (3-hour minimum) | US$90 per hour | US$115 per hour | US$135 per hour | US$145 per hour | US$180 per hour |
| Evening out & event night (5 hours) | US$450 | US$575 | US$675 | US$725 | US$900 |
| Full-day chauffeur (8 hours) | US$665 | US$850 | US$995 | US$1,070 | US$1,325 |
| Corporate roadshow day (10 hours) | US$810 | US$1,035 | US$1,215 | US$1,305 | US$1,620 |
The rates do not change for fashion week. Availability does: cars for the busiest show days book out early, and First Class cars go first, so reserve as soon as your schedule is set.
Brands, buyers, press and talent
Each kind of guest needs something different. Buying teams want a Sprinter that moves four people and their notes between showrooms. Editors want a sedan that waits and a driver who knows when to leave. Brands hosting talent and VIP guests want First Class cars, timed arrivals at the show entrance and discretion.
The desk can run all of it under one account: several cars on different schedules, each with its own chauffeur, invoiced monthly on a corporate account. Chauffeurs are briefed only on approved names and addresses, and NDAs are available on request. Elly8.net provides transportation, not security; protection for high-profile guests should be arranged separately. PR and production agencies booking for clients can use travel-agent accounts, and hotels can book guests through hotel accounts. For shoots during the week, see film and production transportation and corporate car service.
Honest alternatives: metro, taxi and the train from Malpensa
Milan's public transport is good, and fashion week visitors do use it.
| Option | Cost | Best for | Weak point in fashion week |
|---|---|---|---|
| Malpensa Express | €15 per adult | Solo arrivals near Centrale or Cadorna | Ends at a station; samples and trunks are awkward |
| Metro M4 from Linate | €2.20 per person | Light bags, hotels near San Babila | Not for a schedule of shows across the city |
| Taxi | Meter, or fixed rates on set airport routes | One-off trips | Long waits outside venues as shows let out |
| Rideshare | Varies with demand | Off-peak trips | Surge and slow pickups at show times |
| Elly8.net chauffeur | By the hour from US$90; MXP from US$230 | Editors, buyers, brand teams | Book early for the busiest days |
The Malpensa Express costs €15 for an adult between Malpensa and Milan, and the M4 metro runs from Linate to San Babila in about 12 minutes on a €2.20 ticket, according to YesMilano. The Comune di Milano says taxi fares are set by the taximeter or by fixed rates on pre-established routes. For a single trip at a quiet time, a taxi or the metro is fine. For a day of back-to-back shows, the car that is already waiting is what keeps you on schedule. Central Milan's Area C congestion charge zone also applies on weekdays, which is one more reason not to rent a car. See chauffeur vs taxi, chauffeur vs car rental and Uber Black vs a pre-booked chauffeur.
After the shows: Lake Como, Paris and the mountains
Some guests stay on for a day of rest. The signature Milan day trip, eight hours on Lake Como, costs from US$665 in a business sedan to US$1,325 in an Executive Sprinter. In late February, St. Moritz and Courchevel are still in their winter season, and a city-to-city car service runs there from Milan.
Paris womenswear usually follows Milan in late February and early March, and many guests go on from one city to the other. Elly8.net covers Paris at fixed prices too, as well as Lake Como, Zurich, Monaco and Nice. More on the city is on our Milan chauffeur service page. Flights and hotels can be booked with our travel partner BookingWorldwide.net; Elly8.net books the car.
