ITB Berlin 2027 runs from Tuesday 16 to Thursday 18 March 2027 at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, Messedamm 22, open daily from 10 am to 6 pm, and from 8:30 am to 7 pm for exhibitors, according to ITB Berlin. The travel industry's trade show has been held since 1966 and celebrated its 60th anniversary in March 2026. The Maldives are the official host country of the 2027 edition, with a guest country stand in Hall 5.2, and the ITB Berlin Convention runs alongside the exhibition.
Elly8.net books ITB transportation for the way a delegate's week actually runs: a chauffeur at Berlin Brandenburg Airport on arrival, a car from the hotel to the right entrance each morning, and a chauffeur by the hour for stand meetings, off-site appointments and the receptions that fill the evenings across Mitte and Charlottenburg. Berlin prices are fixed, all-in and charged in US dollars, and the price list does not change for the fair.
How do you get to Messe Berlin for ITB?
The Berlin Exhibition Grounds are in Charlottenburg, about 9.5 km (6 mi) west of Mitte and about 31 km (19 mi) from BER by road. Public transport is good for light travellers; for delegates with meetings across the city, a pre-booked chauffeur drops you at the entrance nearest your hall and collects you when you text.
The grounds are big, and the entrance matters. For the trade days the organisers list five open entrances: the North Entrance at Hall 21, hub27, the South Entrance, CityCube Berlin and SCH7, all marked on the ITB hall plan and travel service page. A drop-off at the wrong side can mean a long walk through the halls with a laptop bag and samples. Give the desk your hall or meeting room when you book and the chauffeur chooses the entrance and the approach.
ITB also asks visitors to check the latest information on the reconstruction of the Funkturm motorway interchange before travelling. The interchange sits right beside the grounds, which is why opening and closing times can be slow by road. A chauffeur who knows the current diversions, and who agrees a pickup point away from the taxi queue, saves real time on a day of back-to-back appointments.

Arriving at BER for ITB
Berlin Brandenburg Airport has two terminals within walking distance of each other: Terminal 1 is the main building, and Terminal 2 is next door. Your airline decides which you use. The chauffeur tracks the landing, waits in the arrivals area of your terminal with a name board, and gives you complimentary waiting after a tracked landing; a passport queue after an overnight flight from North America does not cost extra.
| BER to Mitte | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| One way, 27 km / 17 mi, about 33 min clear | US$150 | US$195 | US$240 | US$265 | US$390 |
| Round trip | US$285 | US$375 | US$460 | US$505 | US$745 |
Prices are per vehicle and include the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet; tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. A transfer from BER straight to the Messe, for exhibitors going directly to set-up, or to a hotel in Charlottenburg is quoted at a fixed price through the web booker. See Berlin airport transfers and meet and greet. Delegations flying privately can be met at the FBO named in the booking; see private jet and FBO car service.
The trade-day plan with a chauffeur by the hour
Morning. The chauffeur collects you at your hotel, whether on the Kurfürstendamm, in the City West near the grounds, around Potsdamer Platz or in Mitte, and sets you down at the entrance for your hall before your first appointment. The desk can collect colleagues from different hotels in one Executive Sprinter.
During the day. ITB days are dense. If you leave the grounds for a lunch with a hotel group, a site visit or a meeting at a ministry or embassy in Mitte, the chauffeur meets you at the agreed entrance. A chauffeur by the hour costs from US$85 in a business sedan, US$110 in a business SUV and US$170 in an Executive Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum.
Evening. Tourism boards, airlines and hotel companies host receptions and dinners across the city during ITB week. The evening out and event night package keeps one car and chauffeur for five hours, from US$425 in a business sedan to US$850 in an Executive Sprinter. The chauffeur follows local rules on drinks in vehicles.
For a full fair day that runs from breakfast meetings to a late dinner, the ten-hour corporate roadshow day is usually the simplest booking; see roadshow chauffeur. For shorter windows, book by the hour. Our conference and trade show transportation page explains multi-day plans with a standby car.

The rates do not change for ITB. Availability does: First Class cars and Sprinters are in demand on the three trade days, so reserve now.
Tourism boards, delegations and exhibitor teams
ITB is a show of delegations. A national tourism board may bring a minister or director, a sales team and a group of industry partners, each on a different programme. The desk can run a First Class Sedan for the head of delegation, business sedans for managers and an Executive Sprinter for group moves between the hotel, the grounds and evening events, all under one reference with one point of contact.
Protocol and discretion matter for official visitors. Chauffeurs are briefed only on the names and routes you approve, the itinerary goes only to the people you specify, and the desk signs NDAs on request. Elly8.net provides transportation, not security; protective details should be arranged separately. See government, diplomatic and delegation transportation and group transportation.
A corporate account puts the week on one monthly invoice with a reference per traveller. Travel agencies and destination management companies booking for clients can use travel-agent accounts, and hotels can book cars for guests through hotel accounts.
Honest alternatives: Airport Express, S-Bahn, U-Bahn and taxi
Berlin's public transport is good, and ITB publishes the connections on its travel service page. For one visitor with a badge and a laptop bag, it is often the right choice.
| Option | Cost | Best for | Weak point in fair week |
|---|---|---|---|
| Airport Express (FEX) BER to Hauptbahnhof | ABC single ticket €5.00 | Solo arrivals near Hauptbahnhof or Potsdamer Platz | Change needed to reach the grounds |
| S-Bahn and U-Bahn to the grounds | Fare per person | Light bags, hotels near a line | Crowded at opening and closing |
| Taxi | Metered | Single trips with no booking | Queues at the grounds at closing time |
| Rideshare | Varies with demand | Off-peak hops | Waits and surge at 6 pm |
| Elly8.net chauffeur | BER from US$150; by the hour from US$85 | Delegations, executives, exhibitor teams | Book early for trade days |
According to BER's public transport page, the Airport Express runs between the airport and Hauptbahnhof in about 23 minutes, every 15 minutes. BER is in fare zone C, and ITB notes that the trip from the airport to the grounds needs an ABC ticket; BVG prices an ABC single ticket at €5.00. For a delegation, a team with display materials, a chief executive with a full calendar, or anyone heading to a reception in Mitte at 8 pm, the waiting chauffeur wins. See chauffeur vs taxi and chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft.
After the show: Potsdam and onward travel
Delegates who stay for the weekend often spend a day in Potsdam. The signature Berlin day trip, six hours to the Potsdam palaces, costs from US$470 in a business sedan to US$940 in an Executive Sprinter; see private city tours.
ITB is also a starting point for European sales trips. Elly8.net covers Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, Prague, Vienna and Copenhagen, and a city-to-city car service or a train station transfer at Hauptbahnhof connects them. More on the city is on our Berlin chauffeur service page, and the venue operator is Messe Berlin. Flights and hotels can be booked with our travel partner BookingWorldwide.net; Elly8.net books the car.

Yes. Book First Class cars, sedans and Executive Sprinters under one reference, and the desk briefs each chauffeur on its part of the programme. NDAs are available on request, and a corporate account invoices the week monthly. Elly8.net provides transportation, not security.
What is the cancellation policy?
