The Formula 1 Hard Rock Miami Grand Prix returns to the Miami International Autodrome on April 30 to May 2, 2027, on the Hard Rock Stadium campus in Miami Gardens, about 19 miles (30 km) north-west of Miami Beach. Three days of track action, a full hotel market and a strict vehicle plan around the stadium make race weekend one of the hardest ground-transport weekends of the Miami year. Elly8.net books it at a fixed, all-in price: MIA to Miami Beach from US$180 in a business sedan, and a chauffeur by the hour from US$100.
Rides in Miami are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Miami Gardens is outside our city list, so race trips are priced and run from our Miami car service. This page explains the promoter's published drop-off system, the Brightline and taxi alternatives, and the bookings that work from Miami Beach, Brickell and the private aviation terminals.
How do you get to the Miami Grand Prix by car?
Private cars cannot drive to the gates. The promoter says guests dropped by a personal or chartered vehicle go to an off-site rideshare lot and take a free shuttle to the track, and return the same way. Your Elly8.net chauffeur drops you at that lot and collects you there after the session.
That is the arrangement set out in the promoter's A to Z guide and FAQs. For the return, guests take a free shuttle back to the off-site rideshare lot, with pickup points at the South Shuttles and Beach Shuttles; destinations vary by pickup point, so the chauffeur confirms which shuttle to take before you leave the car. Hospitality packages that include a vehicle pass for a specific lot work differently; tell us what your package includes and we plan around it.
The road picture is simple to describe and slow to drive. The stadium sits by NW 199th Street in Miami Gardens, and on race days the approach roads, lots and shuttle routes all run to the promoter's traffic plan. The fixed price does not change with the queue; the desk sets pickup times so you reach the shuttle lot well before the session you want to see.
The race weekend: dates, gates and who comes
The Formula 1 2027 calendar lists the Formula 1 Hard Rock Miami Grand Prix 2027 for April 30 to May 2, and the official Miami Grand Prix site confirms the race returns to Miami on those dates. The venue address is Hard Rock Stadium, 347 Don Shula Drive, Miami Gardens, Florida 33056.
For 2026 the promoter published these gate times: Friday gates 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., with parking lots opening half an hour before the gates. Expect 2027 times to be published closer to the race, and plan pickups to them.
The crowd mixes fans in the grandstands, corporate hospitality guests, sponsors and team partners, and a large number of visitors who make the weekend a Miami holiday, with yachts, beach clubs and restaurants filling the evenings. Most stay on Miami Beach, in Brickell and Downtown, in Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles, or in Fort Lauderdale. Each of those is a different drive to Miami Gardens, and each benefits from a car that is waiting when the session ends.
The plan for race weekend
Arrival: MIA, FLL or Opa-locka. Miami International (MIA) is the usual arrival. Your chauffeur tracks the flight and meets you with a name board inside arrivals; see airport transfers. Fixed fares from MIA to Miami Beach run from US$180 in a business sedan to US$470 in an Executive Sprinter. Fort Lauderdale (FLL) is closer to the circuit than to South Beach, about 13.5 miles (22 km) from the stadium, and FLL to Miami Beach is fixed from US$255. If you are flying privately, Miami-Opa Locka Executive (OPF) is only about 6.5 miles (10.5 km) from Hard Rock Stadium; OPF to Miami Beach is fixed from US$195 in a business sedan to US$510 in a Sprinter. Send the tail number and FBO and the car is staged before landing; see private jet and FBO transfers.
Race days: hotel to the shuttle lot and back. Book car service by the hour for each track day. The chauffeur collects you at your hotel, drops you at the off-site lot for the free shuttle, and waits for your return. Because the car is yours for the booked hours, you can leave after qualifying or stay for the last lap without renegotiating a ride.
Evenings. Race weekend nights move between Miami Beach, Brickell, Wynwood and the Design District. The 5-hour evening out and event night package keeps one car with you for dinner and the night, from US$500 in a business sedan to US$1,000 in a Sprinter. The chauffeur follows Florida rules on passengers and alcohol.
Groups and hospitality. An Executive Sprinter with driver moves a hospitality group from one hotel to the shuttle lot together, and the desk can add business SUVs for guests on different schedules. Sponsor and team-partner groups often book the 10-hour corporate roadshow day for the long Saturday or Sunday. See sports event transportation and corporate car service.
Delegations and private guests. Visiting officials and high-profile guests can book with NDAs on request through our government and diplomatic transportation service. Elly8.net arranges cars and chauffeurs; we are not a security company.
Distances to Hard Rock Stadium
| Route | Distance | Clear-road drive | Elly8.net booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| Miami Beach to Hard Rock Stadium | about 19 mi / 30 km | about 33 min | Hourly from US$100, or full day from US$740 |
| Brickell to Hard Rock Stadium | about 16 mi / 26 km | about 28 min | Hourly from US$100 |
| MIA to Hard Rock Stadium | about 18.5 mi / 30 km | about 33 min | Web booker |
| FLL to Hard Rock Stadium | about 13.5 mi / 22 km | about 23 min | Web booker |

| MIA to Miami Beach | 15 mi / 24 km | about 30 min | Fixed, US$180 to US$470 |
These are clear-road figures. On race days, allow considerably longer for the final miles and the shuttle connection.
Prices for race weekend
Prices on the Miami price list do not change for the Grand Prix. They are per vehicle, fixed and all-in, including the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet; tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
- By the hour, as directed (3-hour minimum): US$100 in a business sedan, US$125 in a business SUV, US$150 in a First Class SUV, US$160 in a First Class Sedan and US$200 in an Executive Sprinter.
- Evening out and event night (5 hours): US$500 in a business sedan, US$625 in a business SUV, US$800 in a First Class Sedan and US$1,000 in a Sprinter.
- Full-day chauffeur (8 hours): from US$740 in a business sedan to US$1,475 in a Sprinter, the usual booking for a full track day.
- Corporate roadshow day (10 hours): from US$900 in a business sedan to US$1,800 in a Sprinter.
- Airport transfers to Miami Beach: MIA from US$180, OPF from US$195, FLL from US$255; MIA round trip from US$345.
Every price is on the Miami fares panel, and the fleet page shows what each class seats and carries. Race weekend books out early across South Florida, especially SUVs and Sprinters for Saturday and Sunday. Reserve now; you can adjust times through the desk later.
Honest alternatives: Brightline, taxis and rideshare
Brightline. For guests staying near a Brightline station, the train is a strong option. The promoter says you can take Brightline from Orlando, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale or Miami to Aventura Station, where a complimentary shuttle runs to the Miami International Autodrome, leaving about 10 minutes after each train arrives; for the return, follow the Brightline Shuttles signs to Lot 16 on the south side of the track.
Taxis. The promoter lists taxis outside Gate 4 on 199th Street after on-track activity, on a first-come, first-served basis, with fares set by each provider. That is fine for a light traveller without a deadline, but first-come queues after the race are long.
Rideshare. App rides use the same off-site lot and free shuttle as private cars. The difference is the return: after the race, demand peaks and prices move with it, while a pre-booked chauffeur is already waiting at a fixed hourly rate. At the airport, MIA publishes taxi rates and ride app pickup levels on its taxi and ride app page, compared in full on our Miami city page.
A chauffeur wins for groups, families, hospitality guests on tight schedules and anyone combining the track with an evening in town. See chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft and Uber Black vs a pre-booked chauffeur.
Make a week of it
Many race visitors add a day on the water or down the coast. The signature Miami day trip, the Overseas Highway to Islamorada in the Florida Keys, is a 10-hour package from US$920 in a business sedan to US$1,840 in a Sprinter. The same fixed-price service runs as a Fort Lauderdale car service, Palm Beach car service, Key West car service, Naples, Florida car service and Orlando car service.
