The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2026 runs from Thursday 19 November to Saturday 21 November 2026, with the race under the lights on Saturday night. The track is the Las Vegas Strip Circuit: 6.201 km (3.853 mi) of public roads with 17 corners, raced over 50 laps, running along Las Vegas Boulevard, Koval Lane, Sands Avenue around the Sphere, and Harmon Avenue back to the permanent pit and paddock building east of the Strip.
That layout is the whole transport story. For three evenings the busiest boulevard in the city becomes a race track, the cross streets that normally carry traffic east and west are restricted, and tens of thousands of fans try to reach their gates in the same hour. Elly8.net books race-week transportation as a fixed-price plan: airport meet and greet, an hourly car to your venue's drop-off zone, a chauffeur waiting at the agreed pickup point after the session, and the same prices as any other week.
How do you get to the Las Vegas Grand Prix by car?
Book a chauffeur by the hour for each race night and give the desk your ticket type and venue. Cars cannot enter the circuit, so the chauffeur drops you at the organiser's designated zone for your venue, then holds nearby and meets you at the assigned pickup point after the session. Leave earlier than you think.
The key fact is that no car, including ours, drives to a grandstand door during track sessions. Las Vegas Grand Prix ticket holders receive pickup and drop-off information for their venue from the organiser, and in previous editions those zones were set by venue space, staffed by traffic officers and event staff, with marked walking routes from each zone to the gate. App-ride zones inside the circuit were switched off while the track was live.
A chauffeured car does not change the closures. What it changes is everything around them: you leave the hotel at a time the desk has planned against the session schedule, you are dropped at the right zone for your ticket rather than wherever an app driver guesses, and after the race the car is staged near your pickup point instead of somewhere in a citywide queue.
Race-week schedule and what it does to traffic
Formula 1 publishes session times in its own time display; in Las Vegas local time (Pacific) the 2026 weekend runs approximately as follows. Confirm on the official Formula 1 race page before you book, because times can shift.
| Day (local time) | Sessions | Transport effect |
|---|---|---|
| Thursday 19 November | Practice 1 around 4:30 p.m., Practice 2 around 8 p.m. | First evening of closures; the circuit goes hot in the afternoon |
| Friday 20 November | Practice 3 around 4:30 p.m., Qualifying around 8 p.m. | Heaviest Friday evening of the year on the Strip |
| Saturday 21 November | Support races, then the Grand Prix at 8 p.m. | Largest crowd; plan the exit as carefully as the arrival |
Weeks before the race, work on the track begins across the resort corridor. In autumn 2026 crews were building a temporary vehicle bridge at Koval Lane and Flamingo Road, closing lanes on Harmon Avenue overnight and closing sidewalks for pedestrian bridges. On race nights, major intersections along Las Vegas Boulevard, Koval Lane and Harmon Avenue close well before the first car goes out, and the on-ramps and off-ramps of nearby freeways can be restricted around hot-track times.
The practical consequence: a 10-minute drive on a normal Thursday can take an hour on race night, and the direct route may not exist at all. Our chauffeurs plan routes that stay outside the closure perimeter and use the freeway and the outer streets, not the Strip itself.
Arriving in Las Vegas for race week
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is about 9 miles (14 km) from the Strip, roughly 39 minutes on a clear road, and it is the arrival airport for most fans. The airport's guidance for pre-arranged cars is that your driver meets you in baggage claim, and that is where an Elly8.net chauffeur waits with a name board, tracking your flight, with complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. Its limousine and car service page also lists the walk-up limousine areas at each terminal.
Race week is also one of the busiest weekends for private aviation in the city. Henderson Executive Airport (HND), about 13 miles (21 km) from the Strip, and North Las Vegas Airport (VGT), about 8 miles (13 km), are both on the price list; the chauffeur meets the aircraft at the FBO. See private jet FBO transfers for how that works.
| Route | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LAS to the Las Vegas Strip | US$125 | US$165 | US$220 | US$325 |
| HND to the Las Vegas Strip | US$155 | US$205 | US$275 | US$405 |
| VGT to the Las Vegas Strip | US$125 | US$165 | US$220 | US$325 |
| By the hour, as directed (3-hour minimum) | US$95 | US$120 | US$155 | US$190 |
Prices are per vehicle and all-in, including the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. Round trips between LAS and the Strip start at US$240. The full set of prices is on the Las Vegas city page, and the detail of airport pickups is on airport transfers.
One timing warning: if you land on Thursday or Friday afternoon, your drive from the airport may cross the closure area as it activates. Tell the desk which hotel and the desk will route around the circuit, which sometimes means a longer drive by distance but a shorter one by time.
The race-night plan: hourly cars and drop-off zones
For each evening you attend, the simplest booking is an hourly chauffeur or the evening out and event night package.
Before you leave. Send the desk your ticket type and venue (grandstand, club or hospitality space) and any drop-off instructions the organiser sends you. Those instructions are the most important input; the chauffeur works to them exactly.
The drop-off. The car leaves your hotel early enough to reach the zone before the roads around it tighten. On race nights that usually means leaving earlier than the session start suggests, especially for venues on the far side of the circuit from your hotel.
During the session. The chauffeur holds outside the closure area, within reach of your pickup zone. You keep the number and message when you are on your way out.
After the chequered flag. This is where a pre-booked car matters most. When the race ends, the crowd leaves at once and app prices respond. Your chauffeur moves to the agreed pickup point and waits. Walk to the zone, not to the nearest curb, and the car will be there.
The evening out and event night package (5 hours) is US$475 in a business sedan, US$600 in a business SUV and US$950 in an Executive Sprinter. Hourly bookings are US$95 to US$190 per hour with a three-hour minimum. For a corporate host running guests to hospitality all three nights, the full-day chauffeur (8 hours, US$700 to US$1,400) or the corporate roadshow day (10 hours, US$855 to US$1,710) covers the daytime meetings as well. See hourly chauffeur and sports event transportation for how we plan these nights in other cities.
Hospitality hosts, sponsors and groups
Teams, sponsors and companies that buy hospitality often move guests in groups. An Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 passengers and is the most efficient way to move a table of clients from one hotel to one drop-off zone. For a host with guests in several hotels, book multiple sedans or SUVs timed to arrive in order; the desk keeps them under one reference.
A corporate account gives one monthly invoice and a named contact on the desk; agencies and concierges can book through travel-agent accounts. Groups that need several vehicles should read group transportation and Sprinter van with driver.
Delegations and well-known guests can ask for discretion and a non-disclosure agreement. Chauffeurs are briefed only on the route and timing. Elly8.net is a transportation service, not a security company; protective arrangements should be made separately.
Taxi, rideshare, walking or a chauffeur: an honest comparison
| Option | Price | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Walking | Free | Fans staying in a hotel next to their grandstand | Long detours around the circuit and pedestrian bridges |
| Las Vegas Monorail | Operator's fare | Hotels on the east side of the Strip | Crowded after sessions; stations are not at every gate |
| Taxi | Metered | A short trip from a hotel outside the closure area | Queues at designated zones; slow approach roads |
| App ride (rideshare) | Dynamic pricing | A solo fan with time to spare | Surge pricing after the race; zones inside the circuit are switched off |
| Elly8.net chauffeur | From US$95 per hour, 3-hour minimum | Hosts, groups, VIP guests, anyone who needs a reliable exit | Must be pre-booked; race week books out early |
If your hotel is next to your grandstand and you are travelling light, walking is often the fastest option, and nothing beats it for cost. The Las Vegas Monorail runs along the east side of the Strip and can work well for venues near its stations. App rides and taxis are fine for a trip in the afternoon, before the roads tighten.
A pre-booked chauffeur earns its price after dark: when you are hosting guests, when you need to be somewhere after the race, when the group includes older relatives or children, or when the budget must be fixed in advance. There is no surge on a fixed price. For more detail, see chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft.
Before and after the race
Race week rarely stands alone in Las Vegas. Many visitors arrive a few days early, and the following days bring the run-up to AWS re:Invent, which starts on 30 November. If you stay on, the signature Hoover Dam and Lake Mead day trip (6 hours) is US$525 in a business sedan to US$1,050 in an Executive Sprinter, and the private city highlights tour starts at US$380.
Fans who drive in from Southern California or Arizona, or want to continue there, can book a city-to-city car service to Los Angeles, Orange County, Palm Springs or Scottsdale.
How booking works
Rides in Las Vegas are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer (seven for Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley). Elly8.net is a member of LimousineWorldwide.Directory and LimousineAssociation.International.

Frequently asked questions
Can a car drop me at my grandstand during the Las Vegas Grand Prix?
No private vehicle drives into the circuit during track sessions. The organiser sends ticket holders the drop-off and pickup zone for their venue, with walking routes from the zone to the gate. Your chauffeur drops you at that zone and meets you at the assigned pickup point after the session.
How much does a car service cost on race night?
The evening out and event night package (5 hours) is US$475 in a business sedan, US$600 in a business SUV and US$950 in an Executive Sprinter. By the hour, prices run from US$95 to US$190 per hour with a three-hour minimum. Prices are fixed and all-in, with parking and tolls at cost.
What time should I leave my hotel?
Leave well before the session you want to see, and earlier on Saturday. Closures activate before the cars go out, and approach roads slow down long before that. The desk sets the pickup time from your hotel, venue and session; the further your hotel is from your venue across the circuit, the earlier you leave.
How do I find my car after the race?
Walk to the pickup zone for your venue, not to the nearest street. Your chauffeur moves to that point as the race ends and messages you when in position. Keep the chauffeur's number and the booking confirmation on your phone, and agree a meeting point inside the zone in advance.
Is the price higher during Grand Prix week?
No. The published Las Vegas price list does not change for the race. What changes is availability: there are only so many chauffeured cars in the city on race nights, so the earliest bookings get the vehicle class they want.
Can you move a group of hospitality guests?
Yes. An Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 passengers and costs US$190 per hour or US$950 for the 5-hour evening package. For guests in several hotels, the desk times multiple sedans or SUVs so they arrive in order at the right zone.
What if I cancel because my plans change?
Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup. At 72 hours or less the fee is 10%, at 48 hours or less 50%, and at 24 hours or less, or a no-show, 100%. Refunds go to the original card.
Do you meet private jets for race week?
Yes. Henderson Executive Airport and North Las Vegas Airport are both on the price list, from US$155 and US$125 respectively in a business sedan to the Strip. The chauffeur meets you at the FBO with flight tracking on the arrival.
