EDC Las Vegas 2027 runs over two festival weekends at Las Vegas Motor Speedway: Friday, May 14 to Sunday, May 16, and Friday, May 21 to Sunday, May 23, 2027, according to the official EDC Las Vegas site. The organiser, Insomniac, calls the two weekends Dusk and Dawn, and for the first time fills the days between them with events across the city as "12 Days of EDC". Every festival night runs until dawn: gates open at 5 p.m. on the Fridays and 7 p.m. on the Saturdays and Sundays, and the music runs until 5:30 a.m.
Elly8.net books the ground transport around it: a chauffeur meeting you at Harry Reid International or at a private-jet terminal, a fixed drop-off at the Speedway's official guest lot each evening, and a pickup set for the hour you want to leave, at 2 a.m. or at sunrise. Prices are fixed, all-in and do not change for festival weeks, and the 24/7 desk runs the booking through the night.
How do you get to EDC Las Vegas and back?
The festival recommends its official shuttles. Every other car, including rideshare, taxis and private chauffeurs, must drop off and pick up at the Guest Drop-Off lot (Mid-Brown Lot) via the E. Tropical Parkway exit from I-15 North. The Speedway is about 16.6 mi (26.7 km) from the Strip. Book the ride home at a fixed time.
Las Vegas Motor Speedway sits in the desert north-east of the city, about 16.6 mi (26.7 km) from the Strip, around 25 minutes on a clear road, and about 14 mi (22.5 km) from Downtown. EDC has called it home since 2011. Every night, a very large crowd heads north on I-15 in the evening, and every morning it heads back at the same time, with tired guests, desert temperatures and a limited choice of exits.
The festival is unusually direct about the rideshare problem. Its parking and drop-off page warns that, given the distance and other big events in town, riders should expect longer waits, dynamic pricing and cars that are simply not available, and it asks guests to have backup options for late night and early morning. A pre-booked chauffeur is that backup: the car, the price and the pickup time are fixed before you leave the hotel.

| Weekend 2 | Fri May 21, 5 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.; Sat May 22 and Sun May 23, 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. |
| Venue | Las Vegas Motor Speedway, 7000 N. Las Vegas Blvd |
| Guest drop-off and pickup | Mid-Brown Lot, open for the entire event, reached from I-15 North via the E. Tropical Parkway exit |
| On-street drop-offs | Not allowed near the Speedway or along Las Vegas Blvd between the Speedway and Downtown; enforced by Las Vegas Metro PD and Nevada Highway Patrol |
| Charter buses | No access; the official EDC shuttles are the only charter buses with gate access |
| General parking | Free; lots open 3 p.m. Fridays, 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays |
| Age and re-entry | 18+ to enter, 21+ for alcohol and VIP; no re-entry each day |
All of this comes from the festival's parking and drop-offs page and hours and info page. The organisers also ask drivers not to follow Google or Waze to the Speedway but to use their directions and signs, which send traffic from the Strip up I-15 North. Our partner chauffeurs follow the festival's routing on the night.
So a chauffeured car does not get a secret entrance. What it gives you is certainty: a set pickup time at the guest lot, a driver already on the way to you, and a fixed fare home, instead of standing in the lot at 5:30 a.m. watching an app search for a car.
Arriving in Las Vegas
Harry Reid International (LAS) is about 9 mi (14 km) from the Strip; the airport has two passenger terminals, 1 and 3. Private jets often use Henderson Executive (HND) or North Las Vegas (VGT), north-west of Downtown.
| Route | Distance | Clear-road drive | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LAS to the Strip | 9 mi / 14 km | about 39 min | US$125 | US$165 | US$220 | US$325 |
| LAS round trip | same, both ways | about 39 min each way | US$240 | US$315 | US$420 | US$620 |
| HND to the Strip | 13 mi / 21 km | about 21 min | US$155 | US$205 | US$275 | US$405 |
| VGT to the Strip | 8 mi / 13 km | about 17 min | US$125 | US$165 | US$220 | US$325 |
| By the hour, as directed | 3-hour minimum | - | US$95/hr | US$120/hr | US$155/hr | US$190/hr |
The First Class SUV is US$200 from LAS and VGT and US$250 from HND. All prices are per vehicle, fixed and all-in: chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
Give us the flight number. The chauffeur tracks the landing and meets you inside arrivals with a name board, and waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary. For private aircraft, tell us the FBO and tail number. See airport transfers, meet and greet and private jet and FBO car service.
Festival nights: the car plan
The Speedway route is not on the fixed price list; enter your hotel and "Las Vegas Motor Speedway, EDC" in the web booker for a fixed fare, or book by the hour. There are three plans that work:
- Two fixed legs. A drop-off at the guest lot at the time you choose, and a pickup at a set time, for example 2:30 a.m. or 5:45 a.m. This is the most common plan and the best value for a whole night.
- By the hour around the drop-off. If the evening starts with dinner on the Strip and a stop at the hotel to change, book an hourly chauffeur from US$95 an hour in a Business Sedan to US$190 in an Executive Sprinter, three hours minimum, then a fixed pickup later.
- A car on standby for a host. For a brand, a label or a manager looking after guests and artists across the night and the days in between, the corporate roadshow day (10 hours) runs from US$855 in a Business Sedan to US$1,710 in an Executive Sprinter.
For the pickup, agree the time and a meeting point inside the guest lot before you go in, and keep a charged phone; the desk and the chauffeur can reach you, but the lot is large and busy at closing. The chauffeur follows Nevada rules on what may be carried in the vehicle. The party stays at the festival; the ride home is quiet and direct. See concert and festival transportation.
Groups and the 12 days between
An Executive Sprinter carries a group together, totems and costumes included, and one vehicle at a known pickup point is far easier than finding four app rides at sunrise. For larger groups, the desk books several vehicles on one confirmation with the same pickup time. See Sprinter van with driver, party bus rental and group transportation.
Between the weekends, the festival plans events across the city, some ticketed and many free. The evening out and event night package (5 hours) runs from US$475 in a Business Sedan to US$950 in an Executive Sprinter, and the full-day chauffeur (8 hours) from US$700 to US$1,400. Industry guests, artists' teams and brands working all 12 days can open a corporate account with monthly invoicing; travel advisers booking fans can use travel agent accounts. For discretion, the desk can assign the same chauffeur for the stay and sign an NDA. Elly8.net is a car service, not a security company; where an artist travels with security, the chauffeur follows the security team's plan.
Honest alternatives: official shuttles, the festival's own car service, rideshare and taxis
The festival strongly recommends its official EDC shuttles, and for most solo fans and couples staying at a shuttle hotel they are the right choice: a dedicated route that bypasses regular traffic, a lot right next to the festival site, security pre-check, restrooms and water at every stop. Hotel shuttle lots open at 5:30 p.m. EDC also sells its own private car service from MGM Grand, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and Mandalay Bay, using a private route and a dedicated entrance, and helicopter transfers.
| Option | Price | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Official EDC shuttle | Shuttle pass | Fans at a shuttle hotel | Fixed lots and schedules |
| Rideshare (Uber, Lyft) | Set by the app; surge expected | Flexible plans | Long waits and limited cars at night, per the festival |
| Taxi | Metered from the Strip | One or two people | Same guest lot, same queues |
| Driving yourself | Free general parking | A designated driver | Driving home at sunrise after a long night |
| Elly8.net round trip | Fixed in the web booker, or from US$95/hr | Groups, guests away from shuttle hotels, a guaranteed ride home | Uses the guest lot like other cars; book early |
From the airport, the Nevada Taxicab Authority publishes approximate zone fares to the Strip of about US$22.25, US$26.25 and US$30.25, plus a card fee, and the airport explains its taxi and rideshare pickup points. For one or two travellers with light bags, a taxi to the hotel is good value. A pre-booked chauffeur wins for groups, for guests staying off the shuttle network, and for anyone who wants the ride home fixed before the night begins. See chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft and chauffeur vs taxi.
Days off in the desert
Recovery days suit a slow tour. The signature Hoover Dam and Lake Mead day trip is a 6-hour package from US$525 in a Business Sedan to US$1,050 in an Executive Sprinter, and the private city highlights tour runs from US$380 to US$760. Fans driving in from California can book Los Angeles, Orange County or San Diego, and Arizona visitors Phoenix, with a city-to-city car service on one fixed fare.
Rides in Las Vegas are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Frequently asked questions
When is EDC Las Vegas 2027?
EDC Las Vegas 2027 runs May 14 to 16 and May 21 to 23, 2027 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, with events across the city between the weekends. Gates open at 5 p.m. on Fridays and 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, and the music runs until 5:30 a.m.
Where does a private car drop off at EDC?
At the official Guest Drop-Off and Pickup location, the Mid-Brown Lot, reached from I-15 North via the E. Tropical Parkway exit. The festival does not allow drop-offs on the street near the Speedway or along Las Vegas Boulevard to Downtown.
Can the chauffeur pick us up at 5:30 a.m.?
Yes. Book a pickup at the time you want to leave, from any hour after midnight to after the last set. Agree a meeting point inside the guest lot, and the chauffeur waits there.
How far is the Speedway from the Strip?
About 16.6 mi (26.7 km) by road, around 25 minutes on a clear road. On festival nights, I-15 North and the exits near the Speedway are much slower, so allow extra time for the drop-off.
How much is a car from the airport to the Strip?
From Harry Reid International, a fixed transfer costs US$125 in a Business Sedan, US$165 in a Business SUV, US$200 in a First Class SUV, US$220 in a First Class Sedan and US$325 in an Executive Sprinter, per vehicle and all-in.
Is the official shuttle better?
For many fans at a shuttle hotel, yes: it uses a dedicated route and parks next to the festival site. A private car suits groups, guests staying away from shuttle hotels, and anyone who wants a fixed ride home at a time they choose.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 72 hours before pickup for free. Within 72 hours the charge is 10%, within 48 hours 50%, and within 24 hours or for a no-show 100%. Refunds go back to the original card.
