Haute Couture Week Spring/Summer 2027 runs from Monday 25 January to Thursday 28 January 2027, according to the official calendar of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. For four days, clients, editors, buyers and the houses' own guests move between shows, salons and private appointments across Paris, often with only minutes between doors. A pre-booked Elly8.net chauffeur keeps that schedule on a fixed, all-in price: Charles de Gaulle to the 8th arrondissement from US$170 in a business sedan to US$445 in an Executive Sprinter, and a car by the hour from US$90.
Rides in Paris are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. This page is the ground-transport plan for couture week: when it falls, why the week is hard to drive, how arrivals at CDG, Orly and Le Bourget work, and how a car on standby carries a full day of appointments.
How do you get around Paris during Haute Couture Week?
Book one car for the whole day rather than a ride per show. A chauffeur by the hour, from US$90 in a business sedan with a 3-hour minimum, waits near each venue and moves you to the next one as soon as you leave. Airport arrivals are fixed in advance: CDG from US$170, Orly and Le Bourget from US$135.
Couture week is short and dense. The houses that present hold Haute Couture accreditation, which the FHCM explains on its federation page: its Haute Couture Committee continues the legacy of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, founded in 1911, and admits houses that meet criteria on craftsmanship, personalisation, collection schedules and the know-how of their ateliers. The federation publishes the official calendar for the week, with each house's time slot, and updates it as the dates approach; check the Haute Couture Week page before you plan the days.
That calendar is what drives the ground plan. Shows and presentations are spread across the city, and invitations rarely leave time for a taxi queue or an app ride that has to find you on a crowded kerb. Booking a chauffeur for the day turns the calendar into one schedule held by one driver.
Who travels for couture week
Haute couture is made to order, so the week brings a particular mix of travellers. Private clients come to see the collections and book fittings. Editors, stylists and photographers follow the full calendar. Buyers, jewellery and watch houses, and agencies arrive for meetings around the shows. Many guests fly in for just two or three days, often directly from New York, Los Angeles, the Gulf or Asia, and leave again before the weekend.
The timing matters too. The FHCM calendar places Menswear Fall/Winter 2027-2028 from Tuesday 19 January to Sunday 24 January 2027, the week immediately before couture, so many fashion visitors stay in Paris for both. The following Paris season is Womenswear Fall/Winter 2027-2028, from Monday 1 March to Tuesday 9 March 2027. If you are covering more than one week, a single corporate account keeps the bookings and invoices in one place.
The transport problem: short distances, tight doors
Paris is compact, but it is not quick at the hours couture week needs it. The 8th arrondissement, the 1st around Place Vendôme and the Left Bank all have narrow streets, one-way systems and limited stopping space. Hotel forecourts on Avenue Montaigne or Avenue George V hold a car for a few minutes only, and doormen keep them clear. Venues often control their own arrival area, with security and guest lists at the door.
The practical answers are simple. The car arrives at the time you set, not after a search. The chauffeur sets you down as close to the entrance as the venue and the police allow, and confirms the pickup point by message when you are ready to leave. Between appointments the car waits nearby, so a fitting that runs long does not cost you the next show.
Arriving in Paris: CDG, Orly and Le Bourget
Charles de Gaulle (CDG). Almost every transatlantic flight lands here. CDG is about 29 km (18 mi) from the 8th arrondissement, roughly 32 minutes on a clear road, and the morning arrival peak can mean slow passport queues. Give us your flight number; the chauffeur tracks the landing, waits in the right terminal and hall with a name board, and you get complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. See airport transfers and meet and greet.
Orly (ORY). About 19 km (12 mi) south of the 8th, roughly 29 minutes on a clear road, Orly handles many European and some long-haul flights. The fixed fare matches Le Bourget.
Le Bourget (LBG). Paris's business aviation airport, about 19 km (12 mi) north of the 8th and roughly 27 minutes on a clear road, is where most private flights to Paris land during the fashion weeks. Send the tail number and the handler with your booking and the car is staged before you land; read more on private jet and FBO transfers. The airports' operator, Paris Aéroport, publishes terminal and access information for CDG and Orly.
| Trip | Distance | Clear-road drive | Business sedan | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CDG to the 8th arrondissement | 29 km / 18 mi | about 32 min | US$170 | US$300 | US$445 |
| Orly to the 8th arrondissement | 19 km / 12 mi | about 29 min | US$135 | US$240 | US$355 |
| Le Bourget to the 8th arrondissement | 19 km / 12 mi | about 27 min | US$135 | US$240 | US$355 |
| CDG round trip | 2 x 29 km | about 32 min each way | US$325 | US$570 | US$850 |
A round trip from Orly or Le Bourget is fixed from US$260 in a business sedan to US$675 in a Sprinter. The business SUV and First Class SUV sit between the columns: US$225 and US$275 from CDG.
The plan for couture week
Arrival day. Most guests land the day before their first appointment. A business sedan or First Class Sedan meets you at CDG, Orly or Le Bourget and takes you straight to the hotel; an Executive Sprinter carries a team with garment bags and cases in one vehicle. If you are moving on from Menswear week in another hotel, the desk can move you and your luggage between addresses.
Show days: a car by the hour. Book car service by the hour, as directed, with a 3-hour minimum: US$90 an hour in a business sedan, US$115 in a business SUV, US$135 in a First Class SUV, US$145 in a First Class Sedan and US$180 in an Executive Sprinter. The chauffeur holds your calendar, plans the order of drops with you in the morning and adjusts during the day. For longer days, the 8-hour full-day chauffeur is fixed from US$665 in a business sedan to US$1,325 in a Sprinter.
Back-to-back appointments. Buyers and the houses' commercial teams often run ten-hour days of showroom visits and client meetings. The corporate roadshow day, 10 hours, is fixed from US$810 in a business sedan to US$1,620 in a Sprinter; see roadshow chauffeur and executive car service.
Evenings. Couture week evenings are dinners, house events and late returns to the hotel. The 5-hour evening out and event night package is fixed from US$450 in a business sedan to US$900 in a Sprinter, with the car waiting nearby. The chauffeur follows local rules on passengers and alcohol; the celebrating happens at the venue. Our event transportation page covers gala and private-event logistics.
Discretion. Couture clients and their guests often prefer not to be seen arriving. Chauffeurs wear dark suits, vehicles are plain black, and the desk does not share passenger names with anyone outside the booking. NDAs are available on request. Elly8.net arranges cars and chauffeurs; we are not a security company, and any protective detail should be arranged with a licensed specialist who works alongside the driver.
Prices for couture week: the Paris packages
Prices on the Paris price list do not change for Haute Couture Week. They are per vehicle, fixed and all-in, and include the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet; tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
| Package | Business sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CDG to the 8th arrondissement | US$170 | US$225 | US$300 | US$445 |
| By the hour, as directed (3-hour minimum) | US$90 / hr | US$115 / hr | US$145 / hr | US$180 / hr |
| Evening out and event night (5 hours) | US$450 | US$575 | US$725 | US$900 |
| Full-day chauffeur (8 hours) | US$665 | US$850 | US$1,070 | US$1,325 |
| Corporate roadshow day (10 hours) | US$810 | US$1,035 | US$1,305 | US$1,620 |
The First Class SUV costs US$275 from CDG, US$135 an hour, US$675 for the evening, US$995 for the full day and US$1,215 for the roadshow day. Every price is on the Paris fares panel, and the fleet page shows what each class seats and carries.
January fashion weeks book out early. Hotels in the 1st and 8th fill months ahead, and First Class cars and Sprinters for the opening days are the first to go. Reserving now fixes the vehicle and the price; times can be adjusted later through the desk.
Honest alternatives
Paris has good public transport, and for some couture-week trips it is the right answer. From the airports, the Paris Region to Airports ticket covers the RER B to CDG and metro line 14 or Orlyval to Orly; Île-de-France Mobilités publishes the fares and routes. For one traveller with a carry-on, staying near a station and arriving in daylight, the train is cheap and reliable.
Licensed Paris taxis from the airport ranks charge regulated flat fares to the city, set by the authorities and posted at the rank, which takes the guesswork out of the price. Inside Paris, a taxi or an app ride is fine for a single trip outside the show hours.
Where a chauffeur wins is the week itself: four appointments before lunch, a door that closes on time, a garment bag that should not go in a taxi boot, a client who must arrive unseen, a team of five who need to arrive together, or a cost that has to be fixed and invoiced in advance. Our guides to chauffeur vs taxi and Uber Black vs a pre-booked chauffeur set out the general comparison.
Before and after the shows
A free day before or after couture week suits the signature Paris package: a 10-hour day to the Champagne houses in Reims and Épernay, fixed from US$830 in a business sedan to US$1,660 in a Sprinter. The private city tour runs from US$360 to US$720.
Many guests continue to other meetings. We run the same fixed-price service as a London chauffeur service, a Brussels car service, Amsterdam airport transfers, a Geneva car service and a Zurich chauffeur, and in the Alps as a Courchevel car service for the ski season. Longer road journeys sit under city to city car service.
