The January men's week has its own rhythm. Buyers arrive from the Florence fairs the week before, showroom appointments take up as much of the day as the shows, and the weather is winter in Paris. Most flights from North America land at Charles de Gaulle, many of them in the morning. The men's week day with a chauffeur by the hour

Where men's week guests stay, and why it matters
Most guests stay in one of three areas: the 8th arrondissement around the Champs-Élysées and Avenue Montaigne, where the Paris price list is centred; the 1st and 2nd around the Rue de Rivoli, the Place Vendôme and the Opéra; or the Marais and Saint-Germain, closer to many showrooms and smaller venues. Paris public transport is good. According to Île-de-France Mobilités, the Paris Region to Airports ticket costs €14 per trip at full price from 1 January 2026 and covers the RER B to Charles de Gaulle and metro line 14 or Orlyval to Orly.
