New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2027 is listed on the CFDA's official Fashion Calendar for 10 to 16 February 2027. Twice a year, in February and September, designers show their collections across Manhattan and Brooklyn, and editors, buyers, stylists, photographers, talent and brand teams spend a week moving between shows, presentations and showrooms, often with less than an hour between addresses.
Elly8.net books New York Fashion Week transportation as a simple plan: a black car and chauffeur by the hour for each show day, an airport chauffeur at JFK, LaGuardia, Newark or Teterboro, and an evening car for dinners and parties. New York prices are fixed and all-in, and the price list does not change for fashion week.
Why book a black car by the hour for NYFW?
Because shows are minutes apart and spread across boroughs, and the moment a show ends is the worst moment to find a ride in New York. A chauffeur by the hour waits nearby, knows the next address and takes you straight there, so you arrive on time without standing on a February sidewalk refreshing an app.
A fashion week day might start at a show in Chelsea, move to a presentation in SoHo, cross to a venue in Brooklyn and end at a dinner in the West Village. In February that means cold, wind, sometimes snow, and clothes and shoes that are not made for a long wait at a curb. When a show lets out, the whole audience leaves at once and every nearby taxi and app ride is taken.
An hourly booking turns that into a short walk. Your chauffeur is staged a block or two away, you text when you are out, and the car already knows the next venue. If a show runs late, the desk and the chauffeur reorder the afternoon.

Arriving for fashion week: JFK, LaGuardia, Newark and Teterboro
Every New York airport is on the price list, priced to Midtown Manhattan per vehicle and all-in:
| Airport | Distance to Midtown | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| JFK | 18 mi (29 km), about 29 min clear | US$210 | US$275 | US$370 | US$550 |
| LaGuardia (LGA) | 9 mi (14 km), about 17 min clear | US$145 | US$190 | US$255 | US$380 |
| Newark (EWR) | 19 mi (31 km), about 34 min clear | US$215 | US$280 | US$380 | US$560 |
| Teterboro (TEB) | 12 mi (20 km), about 25 min clear | US$170 | US$225 | US$300 | US$445 |
Those are clear-road times. The JFK run in the weekday afternoon peak often takes 60 to 90 minutes, and winter weather can add more, which is why the chauffeur tracks your flight number and adjusts to the actual landing. You are met inside arrivals with a name board, and waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary. A JFK round trip is priced from US$400 in a business sedan to US$1,045 in an Executive Sprinter. See airport transfers and meet and greet.
Teterboro, in New Jersey, is the business aviation airport most private flights into New York use. The chauffeur meets the aircraft at the FBO named in your booking; see private jet FBO transfers and the Port Authority's Teterboro page.
LaGuardia is the closest airport to Midtown and the usual choice for domestic flights from Chicago, Atlanta, Miami or Toronto. The Port Authority estimates a metered taxi from LaGuardia to Times Square at US$30 to US$52 before tips, tolls and congestion pricing, and the Q70 LaGuardia Link bus to the Jackson Heights subway hub is free. A fixed car from US$145 makes sense when you land with garment bags or head straight to a first show.
The show-day plan with a black car
Morning. Send the desk your schedule the night before: show times, addresses and showroom appointments. The chauffeur collects you at the hotel with time to spare, because Midtown and downtown hotel entrances fill up with cars on show mornings.
Between shows. The chauffeur drops you at the venue entrance or the nearest legal stop, holds nearby and comes back when you text. New York street rules are strict, so the chauffeur may circle the block rather than wait at the door; the meeting point is confirmed by text each time.
Evening. After-parties, dinners and presentations fill the evenings. The evening out and event night package keeps one car and chauffeur for five hours, from US$525 in a business sedan. The chauffeur follows local rules on drinks in vehicles.
Packages for fashion week, per vehicle and all-in:
| Package | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| By the hour, as directed (3-hour minimum) | US$105 per hour | US$135 per hour | US$170 per hour | US$210 per hour |
| Evening out & event night (5 hours) | US$525 | US$675 | US$850 | US$1,050 |
| Full-day chauffeur (8 hours) | US$775 | US$995 | US$1,255 | US$1,550 |
| Corporate roadshow day (10 hours) | US$945 | US$1,215 | US$1,530 | US$1,890 |
For a full show day from the first show to the last party, the ten-hour corporate roadshow day is often the simplest booking; our roadshow chauffeur page explains how long multi-stop days are scheduled. For shorter days, book our hourly chauffeur service. Prices include the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet; tolls, the Manhattan congestion pricing toll, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
Designers, brand teams and talent
Behind every show is a team that moves before the guests do: stylists, hair and makeup, models between fittings, a producer with garment rails. An Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 passengers with luggage and costs US$210 per hour in New York; it keeps a team together between a studio and a venue. Brands often add First Class sedans or SUVs for talent and guests of honour, all under one reference. See event transportation, group transportation, Sprinter van hire with a driver and film and production transportation for shoots around the week.
A corporate account puts the whole week on one monthly invoice with a reference per guest, and PR agencies and travel managers can book for clients through travel-agent accounts. Brands with year-round New York travel can also use our corporate car service.
The desk signs NDAs on request, chauffeurs are briefed only on the route and the names you approve, and itineraries are shared only with the people you specify. Elly8.net provides transportation, not security; protective details should be arranged separately.
NYFW transport options compared honestly
| Option | Cost | Best for | Weak point |
|---|---|---|---|
| Subway | US$3 base fare | One person, light bag, venues near a station | Stairs, transfers, February weather, tight timings |
| Yellow taxi | Metered in town; US$70 flat JFK to Manhattan plus surcharges, tolls and tip | Spontaneous single trips | Scarce right after a show; hard to hail in bad weather |
| Rideshare | Dynamic pricing | Off-peak single trips | Surge and waits when shows let out |
| Elly8.net black car by the hour | From US$105 per hour, 3-hour minimum | Editors, buyers, talent, brand teams | Book ahead; fashion week books out early |
The subway is fast and cheap for one person who knows the lines. For the airport, the JFK AirTrain costs US$8.75 to Jamaica or Howard Beach, where you continue on the subway or the Long Island Rail Road. Under the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission fare rules, a yellow cab between JFK and Manhattan is a US$70 flat fare, plus the MTA, improvement and congestion surcharges, the congestion pricing toll, a US$2.00 airport access fee on pickups and a weekday peak surcharge, then tolls and tip. For one traveller with a roller bag and a short taxi line, that is fair value.
Fashion week is a different trip. With shows minutes apart, garment bags, heels and February weather, a car that waits for you is the reason you see every show on your list. There is no surge on a fixed price. For the general comparisons, see Uber Black vs a chauffeur and chauffeur vs taxi.
The calendar, venues and the rest of the week
The official schedule for each season is published on the CFDA Fashion Calendar, and NYFW: The Shows covers its own programme. Venues change from season to season and are confirmed by each designer, so send the desk your invitations as they arrive and the chauffeur builds the day around them.
Most visitors stay in Midtown, SoHo, Tribeca, the Meatpacking District or the West Village; the car makes any base work. Before or after the week, the signature Hamptons day trip (10 hours) is priced from US$970 in a business sedan to US$1,935 in an Executive Sprinter. Elly8.net also covers Westchester and Greenwich, Philadelphia, The Hamptons and Hartford, and a city-to-city car service connects them. More on the city is on our New York car service page. Flights and hotels can be booked through our travel partner BookingWorldwide.net; Elly8.net books the car.
How booking works

How much is a black car for a fashion week show day?
By the hour from US$105 in a business sedan, US$135 in a business SUV and US$210 in an Executive Sprinter, three hours minimum. The full-day chauffeur is US$775 for eight hours and the corporate roadshow day US$945 for ten hours in a business sedan, all-in per vehicle.
What does a JFK transfer cost during NYFW?
The price does not change for the event. JFK to Midtown Manhattan is US$210 in a business sedan, US$275 in a business SUV and US$550 in an Executive Sprinter, all-in, with flight tracking, meet and greet inside arrivals and complimentary waiting after a tracked landing.
Can the chauffeur wait outside each venue?
The chauffeur waits as close as New York street rules allow, which can mean circling the block rather than standing at the door. You text when you are out, and the chauffeur confirms the meeting point. The desk reorders the day if a show runs late.
Can you run several cars for a designer or brand?
Yes. Book sedans, SUVs and Executive Sprinters under one reference, and the desk briefs each chauffeur on its part of the schedule. A corporate account puts the week on one monthly invoice with a reference per guest. NDAs are available on request.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 72 hours before pickup and it is free. At 72 hours or less the fee is 10%, at 48 hours or less 50%, and at 24 hours or less, or a no-show, 100%. Refunds go to the original card. Schedule changes can be handled through the 24/7 desk.
Do you meet private jets at Teterboro?
Yes. Teterboro to Midtown Manhattan is US$170 in a business sedan and US$445 in an Executive Sprinter, all-in per vehicle. The chauffeur meets the aircraft at the FBO named in your booking, with flight tracking on the arrival.
What happens if it snows during fashion week?
The chauffeur adjusts the route and timing, and airport pickups follow the actual landing time through flight tracking. Allow extra time between venues on bad-weather days; the desk will suggest earlier departures when the forecast calls for snow.
