The 2027 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show, the 86th annual edition, runs from Wednesday, February 10 to Sunday, February 14, 2027, according to the show's official site. It is owned by the National Marine Manufacturers Association in partnership with the International Yacht Brokers Association and produced by Informa Markets. The organizer reports more than 100,000 visitors and more than 1,000 exhibiting brands at the 2026 show, with a US$955.6 million economic impact.
What makes it a transport question is the layout. The show is not one building: it spans four sites across Miami Beach and Biscayne Bay, connected by shuttles and water taxis, and buyers who are serious about a yacht usually see more than one of them in a day. Elly8.net gives you a chauffeur who meets you at MIA, Fort Lauderdale or Opa-locka, and a car by the hour that moves between the Convention Center, Collins Avenue and Watson Island on your schedule, at fixed, all-in prices that do not change for show week.
Where is the Miami Boat Show and how do you get between the sites?
The 2027 show uses four venues: the Miami Beach Convention Center and Pride Park next to it, the Miami Beach Yacht Collection on Collins Avenue between 44th and 47th streets, and Sailor's Cove at IGY Yacht Haven Grande Miami on the MacArthur Causeway. Show shuttles and water taxis link them; a chauffeur by the hour links them on your timetable.
The organizer's 2027 announcement describes each site. The Miami Beach Convention Center is the central hub, with thousands of boats up to 49 feet, engines, electronics and retail pavilions. Pride Park, next door, is the lifestyle and entertainment core, with seminars, family activities and the new Entry Point for boats at lower price points. The Miami Beach Yacht Collection on Collins Avenue shows powerboats and motor yachts from 30 to 125 feet, near the Fontainebleau and Eden Roc hotels. Sailor's Cove at IGY Yacht Haven Grande Miami, 838 MacArthur Causeway, is the sailing enclave. One ticket covers all four.
On our routing, the Yacht Collection is about 1.9 miles (3 km) north of the Convention Center and Sailor's Cove about 4.2 miles (7 km) west across the causeway, a few minutes each on a clear road. Show week is not a clear-road week: Collins Avenue, Alton Road and the MacArthur Causeway carry show traffic, beach traffic and cruise-port traffic at once.
Show hours for 2027: Wednesday, February 10, noon to 7 p.m.; Thursday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, February 14, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Arriving for the show: MIA, Fort Lauderdale and Opa-locka
Our Miami prices are set to Miami Beach, which is where the Convention Center stands. Per vehicle and all-in:
| Airport | Distance to Miami Beach | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Miami International (MIA) | about 15 mi (24 km), about 30 min clear | US$180 | US$235 | US$315 | US$470 |
| Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood (FLL) | about 27 mi (43 km), about 41 min clear | US$255 | US$335 | US$450 | US$665 |
| Miami-Opa Locka Executive (OPF) | about 17 mi (28 km), about 32 min clear | US$195 | US$255 | US$345 | US$510 |
Round trips are priced together: MIA from US$345 in a business sedan to US$895 in an Executive Sprinter, FLL from US$485 to US$1,265 and OPF from US$375 to US$970. The chauffeur tracks your flight, meets you inside arrivals with a name board and waits at no charge after a tracked landing. See airport transfers and meet and greet.
Opa-locka Executive is a business aviation airport, and boat-show week brings private aircraft into South Florida. For a jet arrival, give us the FBO and the tail number and the chauffeur meets you planeside or in the FBO lobby, following the operator's rules; see private jet and FBO car service. If you are staying north of the show, our Fort Lauderdale car service and Palm Beach car service pages have their own airport prices.
A buyer's show day with an hourly chauffeur
Morning at the Convention Center. The car collects you at your hotel before the 10 a.m. opening (noon on Wednesday) and drops you at the Convention Center Drive side. Engines, electronics and the smaller boats are here, and many buyers start with a broker appointment.
Midday on Collins Avenue. The chauffeur takes you north to the Yacht Collection for appointments aboard the larger motor yachts. If you are a Windward VIP guest, the organizer says the lounge at the Yacht Collection includes complimentary shuttle and water-taxi service; the car can still meet you at the Collins Avenue side for anything off-site.
Afternoon at Sailor's Cove. Sailboat buyers cross the MacArthur Causeway to Watson Island. Then it is back to the hotel to change, and on to a broker dinner in South Beach, Brickell or the Design District.
That is a ten-hour day with four or five stops. Packages in Miami, per vehicle and all-in:
| Package | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| By the hour, as directed (3-hour minimum) | US$100 per hour | US$125 per hour | US$160 per hour | US$200 per hour |
| Evening out & event night (5 hours) | US$500 | US$625 | US$800 | US$1,000 |
| Full-day chauffeur (8 hours) | US$740 | US$920 | US$1,180 | US$1,475 |
| Corporate roadshow day (10 hours) | US$900 | US$1,125 | US$1,440 | US$1,800 |
Book Miami car service by the hour for a few appointments, or the corporate roadshow day for a full buyer's day; our roadshow chauffeur page explains how multi-stop days are scheduled. Prices include the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet; tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
Brokers, builders and exhibitor teams
Exhibitors and brokerages move people constantly during show week: stand staff to the Convention Center in the morning, clients from hotels to the Yacht Collection, and teams to dinners at night. An Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 passengers at US$200 per hour in Miami, and several vehicles can run under one booking reference with one invoice. See conference and trade show transportation, group transportation and Sprinter van hire with a driver.
A corporate account gives builders and brokerages monthly invoicing with a reference per client or salesperson. Agencies bringing international buyers can book through travel-agent accounts. High-value buyers often ask for discretion; the desk signs NDAs on request. Elly8.net provides transportation, not security.
Boat show transport options compared honestly
The organizer runs good free connections between sites, and for many visitors they are the right answer. At the 2026 show, according to the organizer's getting-around guide, complimentary shuttles ran continuously during show hours between the sites and Brightline's MiamiCentral station, electric golf carts linked the Yacht Collection with the Convention Center and Pride Park, the Convention Center garage at 1901 Convention Center Drive charged a flat US$20 a day, and self-parking at IGY Yacht Haven Grande cost US$25 a day including shuttle service. For 2027, the organizer says the four venues are connected by water taxis and complimentary shuttles; check the official site for the 2027 routes and times.
| Option | Cost | Best for | Weak point |
|---|---|---|---|
| Show shuttles, carts and water taxis | Included with the show ticket | Moving between sites during show hours | Show hours only; not to hotels, dinners or airports |
| Miami-Dade taxi from MIA (meter) | roughly US$55 to Miami Beach, plus tolls and tip | One or two travelers, light bags | Taxi line at MIA; meter runs in traffic |
| Rideshare (Uber, Lyft, Uber Black) | Varies with demand | Off-peak hops | Surge and pickup crowds at closing time |
| Bus Route 150 from MIA | Transit fare, every 30 minutes | One traveler with a carry-on | Slow with luggage; not to the Yacht Collection door |
| Elly8.net chauffeur | From US$180 MIA transfer, US$100 per hour | Buyers, brokers, families, groups | Book ahead; show week fills early |
MIA publishes its taxi rules and rates on the taxi and ride app page: a US$15 minimum from the airport and a sliding per-mile rate that works out to roughly US$55 for the 15 miles to Miami Beach, with app pickups on the arrivals and departures levels. Route 150 runs every 30 minutes between the MIA Metrorail station and Miami Beach, per MIA's public transportation page, and the City of Miami Beach runs a free trolley around the island.
If you are one visitor with a day ticket and a hotel near the Convention Center, the shuttles and a taxi are fine, and we say so. A pre-booked chauffeur wins when you are seeing several sites on appointments, carrying a buyer's paperwork, hosting clients, landing late or moving a family. There is no surge on a fixed price. More on the trade-offs in Uber Black vs a pre-booked chauffeur and chauffeur vs taxi.
Tickets, family days and the rest of the week
The organizer lists 2027 ticket types including a Wednesday preview ticket at US$66, a one-day adult general admission at US$45, a two-day adult ticket at US$78, a Thursday-to-Sunday family four-pack at US$99 and a Super Sunday adult ticket at US$30, with children 5 and under free. Child seats are available on request in our vehicles; tell us each child's age when you book.
Many visitors add a day on the water or on the road. The signature Florida Keys day to Islamorada (10 hours) runs from US$920 in a business sedan to US$1,840 in an Executive Sprinter, and the private city highlights tour from US$400 to US$800. Our Key West car service covers the far end of the Overseas Highway. More on the city is on our Miami car service page. Flights and hotels can be booked through our travel partner BookingWorldwide.net; Elly8.net books the car.

February 10 to 14, 2027. Hours are noon to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday to Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. It is the 86th annual show, spread across four venues in Miami Beach and on the MacArthur Causeway.
How far is the Convention Center from MIA?
About 15 miles (24 km), around 30 minutes on a clear road and longer in show-week traffic. An Elly8.net transfer from MIA to Miami Beach is US$180 in a business sedan, US$235 in a business SUV and US$470 in an Executive Sprinter, all-in.
Can the chauffeur take me between the show sites?
Yes. Book by the hour from US$100 in a business sedan, with a three-hour minimum, and the chauffeur moves you between the Convention Center, the Yacht Collection on Collins Avenue and Sailor's Cove on Watson Island, then on to dinner. The show's own shuttles and water taxis also link the sites during show hours.
Do you meet private jets at Opa-locka?
Yes. Opa-locka Executive (OPF) to Miami Beach is US$195 in a business sedan and US$510 in an Executive Sprinter, all-in. Give us the FBO and tail number, and the chauffeur meets you where the operator allows, planeside or in the lobby.
Is a taxi or rideshare cheaper?
For one or two people, often yes. MIA's published taxi rates work out to roughly US$55 to Miami Beach before tolls and tip, and rideshare varies with demand. A fixed-price chauffeur is better for multi-site days, groups, families with child seats and late arrivals.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 72 hours before pickup and it is free. At 72 hours or less the fee is 10%, at 48 hours or less 50%, and at 24 hours or less, or a no-show, 100%. Refunds go to the original card. Times can be changed through the 24/7 desk.
Can you move an exhibitor or brokerage team?
Yes. An Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 passengers at US$200 per hour in Miami, and larger teams book several vehicles under one reference. Corporate accounts receive one monthly invoice with a reference per traveler or client.
