The RSAC 2027 Conference, the cybersecurity industry's annual gathering in San Francisco, runs from Monday 5 April to Thursday 8 April 2027 at Moscone Center, across Moscone North, South and West. The organiser's own figures for the event are 43,000 attendees, about 500 sessions and 600 exhibitors: security leaders, practitioners, researchers, investors, vendors and policymakers, many of them flying in for a week of keynotes, expo halls, briefings and evening receptions.
That volume of people lands on a few blocks of SoMa at the same hours. Elly8.net books RSAC week as fixed-price chauffeured cars: airport transfers from SFO, Oakland and San Jose, hourly cars that wait between meetings, and evening cars for dinners and parties. Rides in San Francisco are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How do you get to RSAC 2027 by car?
Book a fixed SFO transfer to your hotel before the conference, then a chauffeur by the hour for the days you have meetings away from Moscone. SFO to Union Square is US$180 in a Business Sedan and US$470 in an Executive Sprinter, per vehicle and all-in, with the chauffeur waiting inside the terminal.
Moscone Center sits in SoMa, a short walk south of Union Square, where many of the conference hotels are. The center does not have on-site parking, and its streets are busy with shuttles, taxis and app cars at every session break. For a walk between your hotel and the expo hall, a car is not needed. A chauffeur matters for the airport, for meetings in the Financial District, South Beach or the Peninsula, for customer dinners, and for anyone moving a team.
RSAC 2027 at a glance
- Dates: Monday 5 April to Thursday 8 April 2027, confirmed by the Moscone Center event listing.
- Venue: Moscone North, South and West. Moscone West is at 800 Howard Street, at the corner of Fourth and Howard, and the center's administrative office is at 747 Howard Street, at Third and Howard.
- Scale: 43,000 attendees, 500 sessions and 600 exhibitors, according to the RSAC Conference site.
- Registration: open now, with early pricing until 18 December 2026, and RSAC-negotiated hotel rates near Moscone.
RSAC-negotiated hotels are worth booking early, because the hotel decides where your mornings start. If you are in a Union Square hotel, the walk to Moscone is short. If you are in the Financial District, Nob Hill, the Embarcadero or a Peninsula hotel near SFO, a car each morning saves time and arrives on schedule.
Arriving for RSAC: SFO, Oakland or San Jose
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is about 15 miles (24 km) south of Union Square, roughly 24 minutes on a clear road. On a weekday evening, or when US-101 northbound backs up into the city, the same run can take 45 minutes or more. SFO has three domestic terminals (1, 2 and 3) and the International Terminal with its A and G gates. The chauffeur waits inside with a name board, at the signed meeting point at the customs exit in the International Terminal or near the gate exits and baggage carousels in the domestic terminals. Vehicles cannot wait at the SFO curb, so the chauffeur walks you to the car once your bags are collected.
Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport (OAK) is about 20 miles (32 km) from Union Square, around 32 minutes on a clear road, but the Bay Bridge sets the real time at rush hour. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) is about 46 miles (75 km) away, roughly 59 minutes on a clear road; it suits attendees who combine RSAC with meetings in Silicon Valley.

| SFO round trip | US$345 | US$450 | US$600 | US$895 |
| OAK to Union Square | US$215 | US$280 | US$380 | US$560 |
| SJC to Union Square | US$340 | US$445 | US$595 | US$885 |
| By the hour, as directed (3-hour minimum) | US$100 | US$125 | US$160 | US$200 |
| Evening out and event night (5 hours) | US$500 | US$625 | US$800 | US$1,000 |
| Full-day chauffeur (8 hours) | US$740 | US$920 | US$1,180 | US$1,475 |
| Corporate roadshow day (10 hours) | US$900 | US$1,125 | US$1,440 | US$1,800 |
Prices are per vehicle and all-in: chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. A First Class SUV is US$290 from SFO. The price list does not change for conference week. Complimentary waiting starts after a tracked landing, so a late inbound flight costs nothing extra. Drop-offs and pickups around Moscone
Moscone's own directions page lays out the transit picture: BART and Muni Metro to Montgomery station for Moscone North and South, Powell station for Moscone West, and Caltrain into the station at Fourth and Townsend, all within a few minutes' walk. That walkability is why the surrounding streets carry so much traffic at session times: everyone arrives and leaves within the same half hour.
The practical plan for a car is simple. Tell the desk which building you need, North, South or West, and the session or meeting time. The chauffeur sets the drop-off at a legal stopping point near that building and sends you their name and number before pickup. For the return, choose a meeting point a block away from the main entrances, where the car can stop without joining the queue. On Monday morning and Thursday afternoon, the busiest arrival and departure windows of the week, leave extra time.
Exhibitors loading in booth material should follow the organiser's freight rules; a chauffeured car carries people and luggage, not freight.
A conference day with an hourly chauffeur
RSAC weeks are built around meetings: customer briefings, investor sessions, partner lunches and press interviews, many of them in hotel suites and restaurants rather than in the halls. An hourly car turns a fragmented day into a schedule.
Morning. The chauffeur collects you at the hotel and drops you at the right Moscone building for the keynote. If your first meeting is in a suite at another hotel, the car takes you there first.
Midday. Between sessions the car holds nearby, reachable by phone. A lunch in the Financial District or a meeting in Mission Bay is a short ride rather than a walk with a laptop bag.
Evening. RSAC evenings are dense with vendor receptions, private dinners and parties across SoMa, Union Square and the waterfront. The evening out and event night package, five hours from US$500 in a Business Sedan to US$1,000 in an Executive Sprinter, covers the drop-off, the wait and the ride back, including a second stop.
By the hour, San Francisco costs from US$100 in a Business Sedan to US$200 in an Executive Sprinter, with a 3-hour minimum. A full-day chauffeur is US$740 to US$1,475, and the 10-hour corporate roadshow day, built for executives moving between customer meetings in the city and down the Peninsula, is US$900 to US$1,800. See hourly chauffeur service, executive car service and roadshow chauffeurs.
Teams, executives and hosted guests
Vendors and sponsors often fly in a team, host customers and run a dinner most nights. An Executive Sprinter moves the whole team and its luggage from SFO in one vehicle for US$470, and works well for a dinner across town. For larger programmes, the desk schedules several vehicles under one booking reference, with staggered pickups from different hotels. See conference and trade show transportation and group transportation.
A corporate account gives your company fixed airport fares, monthly invoicing and a named contact. Event agencies and travel agents booking for clients can use travel-agent accounts. For executives and speakers who prefer discretion, chauffeurs are briefed only on timing and route, and the desk signs non-disclosure agreements on request. Elly8.net is a transportation service, not a security company; protective details should be arranged separately.
BART, taxi, rideshare or a pre-booked car: the honest comparison
San Francisco has a good airport train, and for many attendees it is the right choice.
| Option | Price, SFO to downtown | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| BART from SFO station | US$11.80 adult fare to Powell or Montgomery | about 30 min ride plus walk | One traveller, light bag, hotel near Market Street |
| Metered taxi | about US$52 on distance, plus US$6 SFO pick-up fee, traffic minutes and tip | 25-50 min | Short notice, two travellers |
| Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) | varies with demand; surge at peaks | 25-50 min plus walk to the pickup zone | Off-peak arrivals, flexible plans |
| Elly8.net Business Sedan | US$180 fixed, all-in | 25-50 min, door to door | Late flights, meetings, guaranteed pickup |
| Elly8.net Executive Sprinter | US$470 fixed, all-in | 25-50 min, door to door | Teams and groups with bags |
BART. The adult fare from SFO to Powell Street or Montgomery Street is US$11.80, according to BART's SFO station page, and those are exactly the stations Moscone recommends. For one attendee with a carry-on staying near Market Street, BART is genuinely good value and we would not argue otherwise.
Taxi. San Francisco taxis run on a regulated meter: US$4.15 for the first fifth of a mile, US$0.65 for each additional fifth of a mile and US$0.65 per minute of waiting or traffic delay, plus a US$6 SFO pick-up fee, per the SFMTA taxi fare schedule. On distance alone, the run to Union Square comes to about US$52, before traffic minutes, the airport fee and a tip.
Rideshare. At SFO, app rides for the domestic terminals pick up on Level 5 of the Domestic Garage, and at the International Terminal on the Departures/Ticketing level centre island, zones 12 to 17, according to SFO's ride-app guidance. Prices follow demand, and a conference week with tens of thousands of arrivals is when demand peaks. Our Uber Black vs a pre-booked chauffeur guide covers the trade-offs.
The pre-booked car wins for teams, for late arrivals, for hotels away from Market Street, for back-to-back meetings and for a fixed number on the expense report.
Before and after the conference
Many RSAC attendees add meetings in Silicon Valley. The desk books San Jose and Silicon Valley car service and city-to-city rides down the Peninsula. For a day off, the signature San Francisco package is a 10-hour Napa Valley wine country day, from US$920 in a Business Sedan to US$1,840 in an Executive Sprinter. The desk also books onward cars to Sacramento and Lake Tahoe, and attendees continuing to Southern California can use our Los Angeles car service. For any address not on the price list, the web booker quotes a fixed price before you reserve.
Flights and hotels can be booked through our travel partner BookingWorldwide.net; Elly8.net books the car.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a car from SFO to RSAC at Moscone Center?
SFO to Union Square and the Moscone area is US$180 in a Business Sedan, US$235 in a Business SUV, US$315 in a First Class Sedan and US$470 in an Executive Sprinter, per vehicle and all-in, with meet and greet inside the terminal. A round trip starts at US$345. Prices do not change for conference week.
Where does the chauffeur meet me at SFO?
Inside the terminal with a name board: at the International Terminal, usually the signed meeting point at the customs exit; in the domestic terminals, near the gate exits or baggage carousels. Vehicles cannot wait at the curb, so the chauffeur walks you to the car. You receive the chauffeur's contact details before landing.
Can the car drop me at Moscone West rather than North or South?
Yes. Tell the desk which building and which session. The chauffeur drops you at a legal stopping point near that building and agrees a pickup point for the return, usually a block away from the main entrance so the car can stop without joining the queue.
Is BART cheaper than a car for RSAC?
For one person, yes. The adult fare from SFO to Powell or Montgomery is US$11.80, and Moscone recommends those stations. A car makes more sense for teams, heavy bags, late flights, hotels away from Market Street and anyone going straight to a meeting.
Can a chauffeur wait between customer meetings?
Yes. Book by the hour from US$100 in a Business Sedan, with a 3-hour minimum, or a 10-hour corporate roadshow day from US$900. The chauffeur holds nearby between meetings and is reachable by phone.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free more than 72 hours before pickup; 10% at 72 hours or less; 50% at 48 hours or less; 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show. Refunds go to the original card. The 24/7 desk can move pickup times as your schedule changes.
When should we book for RSAC 2027?
As soon as your registration and hotel are confirmed. The San Francisco price list is fixed, but the number of chauffeured cars in the city during RSAC week is not, and Monday arrivals and Thursday departures fill first.
